Umm...the 6th is 10 days away for me. I don't know why we're on 8. 9 would be acceptable, but 8? I know Thanksgiving is a holiday, but, it's still a day.

Honestly though, it makes no sense. This countdown is set to hit 0 days left on Dec 5th at 12:01am. By not counting the present day we're doing it wrong. Zero day is Dec 6th, not 5th. I first noticed it around 30 days left and thought oh well, but it's never too late to correct it.

There are nine days and nights left until Dec 6th, not 8. From now on I'm going to post according to this correct countdown and not this incorrect Dec 5th countdown. I suggest everyone else to do the same.

There is no one correct way to do it as the game will be available at different times to different people. I suggest anyone that wants to participate follow the count down in the OP. It is counting down to the start of 6th Dec. and is quite close to when the game will be available on average.

Where do you live? It's currently 8 days, 16 hours to the 6th of December in Anchorage Alaska. Witch is just about as far west as a person can go without ending up in tommorow. Even counting from today to mid day on the 6th is only 9 days.

My personal countdown shows 8 days, 12 hours and 34 minutes. Set for 12:01 AM December 6th...
 
I think the countdown clock we use for this thread is based on the Japanese release of GT6, which is the 5th.

Sure, it's counting down to Dec 6th, but the way it's being translated here it's not counting the current day, which is incorrect. The fact that it it releases at different times due to timezones is irrelevant and not at all part of my point.

Today is November 27th and the day is still going. (maybe for some in Australia/Japan etc. it is the 28th by now, meaning 8 days left)

29th - 7 days left
30th - 6 days left

Dec
1st - 5 days left
2nd - 4 days left
3rd - 3 days left
4th - 2 days left
5th - 1 day left
6th - 0 days left (release day)

It's going to be silly when our count ends on Dec 5th. Do we have any -1 cars to post for the 6th?

I'm aware of that; I was saying the countdown should count today. It's a bit silly to say it's 0 days until tomorrow rather than 1. Seems like I'm the only one who feels this way so I guess I won't bother with it anymore and just go along with the current countdown.

I feel the same way, especially living on the West Coast of USA, we're way behind. O well. I smell poorly photoshopped cars on Dec. 6th :lol:

There are many 0 cars that have been used in competition. International rallies run 00 and 0 course cars which can often be manufacturers trying out next year's cars. Damon Hill also ran as car 0 in the 1993 F1 World Championship on account of an absent 1992 World Champion (when Mansell switched to Indycar).

Just sayin'...
