GT6 Freezing?

PS3 completely locks up when I try to start the 125 Kart championship in the I-B license i think. On 3rd reboot im stuck at the warning loading screen. New GT6 disc. Any ideas on what happened? Never had issues before.

Maybe reinstalling the gamedata helps? (not the savegame).

How do I reinstall game data? I want to be clear on the process so I don't lose my money or the 25 AE cars.

I have the same issue please help it get stuck completely only i can do is take power off and reboot ps3
I try many times everytime it get stuck when i try to enter the kart chamionship

Backup your GT6 save data in an external device.

Erase save data, both of them. Erase game data.

Start GT6 install data 1.02. Copy your save data to PS3.

Start the game again.

How do you people copy to USB ? I have only "Online Storage" option in there as destination. USB is recognized otherwise for photos and other content.

I got some freezing in a couple of races, but haven't had a problem since, so I guess it's ok.

Online storage will do the work, but for safety use a USB stick in FAT32 fotmat. Go to your GT6 save data press triangle and select copy, you will see online storage and USB, select USB.

Last time I checked (last month I think, with GT5) copying the savegame file to USB worked fine for me. I'll check and post back if anything changed.

I guess not. Because those cars will be with the others in your game data.

i have made a backup for savegame delete everything and install again and now the problem is solved thanks everyone for the quick help

If they don't show up just go to the PlayStation store and scroll to the bottom to "view downloads" they will be there you just have to re-download them
