Nice lap guys! :)
Andy i use an hauppauge HDPVR, i record in 720p, then i change the file extension from .m2ts to .mpg, seem more stable for upload on youtube. :)

Can we get a replay of the X2014 time?

I got a 6:29:067 it is only red because i went wide and hit the wall before vipperman (about km13)which made my time worse.
I really hate how kaz thinks if you leave the track you are cheating and you must be punished for it.
Like he has never gone wide before in his GTRs

Ah I see! For me is a pain to record a video because I have to capture it with a camera and don't have anything to keep it stationary. I also have easycap, a capture card but only supports RGB cables and the quality is very underwhelming...

I try to record it and post it on youtube later!

With the camera is still better than nothing though! :) im sure you can do something to make it steady or close to it :)
if you want to post a video . :)
edit: nevermind i been too slow to reply hehe

You can export the replay and share it.

Man, If I didn't go wide, I could have gotten a 6:25:xxx easy.

Sorry Mike but I didn't noticed the prohibition to tune race cars. I tuned suspensions, downforce, drivetrain and LSD to match my driving style thinking that it was allowed with stock race cars, but since is not allowed, please don't count my Audi R8 LMS Ultra, Z4 GT3 and GT-R N24 times! Sorry!

Anyway, I posted another fast lap with the X2014

Yes I didn't touch the settings on this!

EDIT : new lap time! it took me two hours to do a clean lap and I was super cautious at the last corners, my left arm is aching!

07:13.631 - Ferrari GTO '84 (Andy89) NEW

My god, I don't want to see a GTO for at least a week!

If I could only drive one car on one track ever again it would be this combo... the NSX isn't particualrly fast, but the balance is to die for.

07:42.287 - NSX-R Concept '01 (GTP_Stotty) NEW

And the RGT would be my 2nd choice (this lap needs a bit of tidying up!)

08:18.057 - Ford Focus ST 15th Anniversary Edition '13 (Obsidian-2) NEW

Similar times, but what a difference in fun. Focus is horrible, S2000 is a blast.

It seems like they rounded off some corners since GT5 ... I don't nail the kerb at Galgenkopf now for one example.

Nice laps Mike! Been busy with the qualifier so this will have to wait for a little bit. But stop taking all the good cars :P.

Agree about the NSX, my favourite is the Type R '02.

Thx Mohit! a little erratic on first half of the viper run, its a beast! theres a very thin line between grip and oversteer during cornering on the viper, at almost any speed!

I also stopped running these since the qualifier! :)

Great lap Mike! I'll give a shot at the Viper today! What are "qualifiers" you're talking about anyway?

Production-Tuned
6:25:666
212km/h is my average speed which explains why it is hard for me to keep it on the track.

Thx Andy :)
Its the qualifier for the GT6 WRS (Weekly race serie) its a lot of fun, and you dont need to be there every week if you dont have the time, would be nice to see you participating!

after the qualifier you are placed in a division (theres 5) and each division have gold, silver and bronze, and later theres an handicap system that calculate your results after events, that way you can be promoted if you keep improving. :)

After the qualifier, they post a car/track combo every week, you have one week to do your best, you post the first few sector time of the track in the event thread during the week and it will show up in a leaderboard, then when you are ready before the end of the deadline you post your final time in private message to ''fetchy'' an automated system, and the board is updated after the deadline to see who won.

heres an example of the board:
http://wrs.gtplanet.net/GT5/week/123/
you can click ''splits'' or ''results'' on top right to see the results..

Grayfox, make sure you enter your time the right way, i wont include your lap if its not in the same format :)

Production-Tuned
6:13:737
219km/h is my average speed.

I spun out once and went wide a few times.

I can see a 6:00 time if I avoid screwing up.

And manage to get a good setup for the track which I am having issues with.

ok, i will repeat and go more in depth:

please follow the format for the laptime entry, or i wont post your lap.

1: what did you used to do your lap?
2:. Production and tuned are 2 different category

just look how Andy or other have typed their time submission, do the same and replace the time, car and name by the one you use.

Nice lap time, I did a 6:23.013 with a DFGT.

Can you please tell me what settings you used and what wheel or pad?

If you mean car settings, I used the stock setting since in the stock race car category is prohibited to setup your vehicle!
And I have a DFGT just like you, force feedback at 7 ;)

An update with the FXX!
