Just took a peek, it doesn't actually mention the 1m but I would imagine so, even if you don't get the money, you start with 25 cars so not a big issue.

3PM CET will be 00:00AM 6th Dec in Brisbane
4PM CET will be 00:00AM 6th Dec in Japan

Seems to be logical to think it will start in that range of time.
 
In Canada the downloads will not be available till the 6th of Dec. so only 19 more hrs to wait.
 
At least i hope the downloaded version to be the 1.01, and not to have to download the additional patch.
 
Digital download is up and running in Australia :-) 2 hours early at 10pm local
 
Available from Europe too for manual downloading.
Downloading at 12.5 megabit/s. It looks like a PSN-capped speed.

Well at the PSN store, on the GT6 page, and then on the download "tab" on the bottom left, when I open it, there is text that says...

"Please come back to the PlayStation store on the PS3 any time after 12:01am (EST) on Dec 6th to download your game and access the bonus 5-car pack."

..so the point is I don't think It'll let me download before that...

Looks like a lot of psn stores released it at midnight New Zealand time which is logical seeing as we're the furthest ahead on the timeline.
 
Will the digital copies be locked till 12am tonight or does anybody know if it'll load up now??

I highly doubt it. GTA V was up for the pre-load too, but was unlocked when official release day/time was up.

P.S. Nevertheless, G27 is up and check-calibrated on GT5.
 
I eventually decided to pre-order and it seems it will take four hours or so. Will the game be locked until midnight?
 
80% downloaded, about 17 min remaining, it's going pretty fast !
