Spent the evening doing the licence tests!

Jesus they really ramp up the difficulty as you go on!

@Lightsider74 give me a sanity check here!! Did IA10 at the Nurburgring take a small part of your soul!! Toll me just over an hour to complete it 🤕

It's been a while now but yes some took multiple attempts over a few days!

The snow ones are particularly tedious to the point where I didn't think I'd ever get the gold!

Overall I enjoyed completing all the licenses though.

I think I understand race C now and I can't believe this didn't click earlier in the week. The weather is set to give a chance of rain in all of the slots up until somewhere around lap 5, you then get a couple of laps of it drying to manage the inters on a drying line, the rest of the race will always be dry with nothing new coming on the radar. I think PD have cocked up and set the race up for a 25 minute slot and then increased the laps to fill a 50 minute one without adjusting any of the other settings, that would also explain why the tyre wear is set so high for such a long race and why there aren't really any strategy options in the ones which are fully dry.

Have you earned the platinum trophy yet? That’s worth going for

The final gold license of the old Porsche on a wet spa is worth the platinum on its own

Yeah it was a fun evening going through them all, just got to learn the new tracks for the lap attacks for the super licences now, did you do master ones ( i think i saw you mention) are they in a different place?

I'm just starting the Super now - jumped into number 4 for Tokyo as that was just low hanging fruit as we just raced it.

Might look into the platinum as the more I do of the single player mode the more enjoyable it is and causes me to get less angry then the Daily Races (currently serving a 7 day ban for an argument I had on Saturday 🤦‍♂️ )

@Barney Da Dog how was the F1?

Hopefully this week I’ll get some time to race this week as things are settling down work and home wise.

Re the platinum one thing to note if you haven’t is that you need 3 20m cars for it, which is both a money and time thing as they are legends cars so dependent on the rotation

We’ve all been there mate, when is it up? You got a alt account to use?

At lease it’s something still to go for this late in the game 😁 I’m still waiting for w165 to rotate,

Good to see you back mate, glad things settling 👊

Oh I'm a way off that then, I've got 40 odd Million credits - I always get suckered in to the roulette when I get a 6 star ticket thinking I'm going to get millions and end up with a suspension for a car I don't own

Good to hear you should be back racing this week, where do you think you will be spending your time?

Yeah I set up an alt account during my last ban 🤦‍♂️will spend a little bit of time on it and might explore some more of the single player mode.

The GT cup seems pretty good fun, did the Bathurst one, was 10 laps in the Porsche going from night to day.

New rig should be here mid week as well so will probably spend hours putting that together

Very unbalanced, no bop at all. Want to screw a good thing - ask PD how.

Having all the good things, it's still not a good SIM to play online if you want a variety

Well going from 15c in Shetland to 35c in Austria is a shock 🥵😂

F1 was awesome, did 3 different grandstands, a few metres from the track, then also the legends cars doing laps, V10s, V8s - brutal noise! Fantastic GP to attend.

Little beauty 😍

Hopefully home for a daily race on Tuesday afternoon...

A Six-Star Roulette Ticket can generate exactly three rewards: 500,000cr; 1,000,000cr; or any Brand Central car worth 480,000cr or more. It cannot generate parts rewards.

A Six-Star (Parts) Ticket is an entirely different entity, and generates parts only - hence the name. You cannot get "millions" (even one of them) from this type of ticket, only from a Six-Star Roulette Ticket - and at a much lower rate from Five- and Four-Star tickets. Expecting to get something other than parts from a Six-Star (Parts) Ticket is not being "suckered in"...

A Six-Star Roulette Ticket has exactly the prizes I said (20% chance of 1,000,000cr, 40% chance of the others).

Thats class mate!! Great views!!! 💪💪

So I’m safe on the leaderboard until Tuesday 😂

Great views!
Not really views.

Rather than Googling stuff, which leads you somewhat up the garden path as it's no longer a search engine and now provides LLM interpretations of information - like, for example, telling you that you can get Invitations or Credits from a Six-Star (Car) Ticket that, as the name suggests, can only give you cars - it's worth finding actual, trustworthy sources and heeding them.

Here's a very good source with a full list of all tickets and their potential rewards:

That wasn't aimed at you, the whole message was a reply to Barney. I must not have clicked the reply button properly on my phone as I was walking and it didn't' go through). "Great Views" was in reply to the vid and pics he posted.

Looks awesome mate

That hard tyre choice would have worked in Shetland not so sure it worked for 50 degree track temp in Austria

(For Lewis anyways)

😁

Edit. That’s how you do it @Stringerbell 🤣🤣🤣

If the Yaris at Autopolis is half as much fun as it was at Grand Valley last year, I'll be pitching my tent there for the week!

Yes I had raised eyebrows when I saw a that one, I’ll wait to see the guides and have a punt later on,

Urgh, we just had Group 3 at Deep Forest not long ago. I guess I'll give Bathurst a lash but this week again interrupted, Canada day Wednesday so won't be home at night and Thursday night I have the Croatia game to watch.

I was able to only get 2 races in this week at Le Mans. Both of them last night and both of them finished 2nd.
The first was hilarious. We started with a full grid of 16 and by Lap 13 we were down to 3. The leader had a 40 second lead and I had a 10 second lead on 3rd.

2nd race started 4th and got wrecked down to 7th middle/end of lap 2. Recovered to 2nd and if I hadn't binned it again and/or gotten some penalty time for track limits might have been able to race for the win.

I'm going to miss Le Mans and I hope that PD got enough positive data to repeat dailies like this in the future. I totally get it's not everyones cup of tea but it's definitely something PD doesn't normally do.

You were right by the way mate, Bathurst is a awd fest

What’s the meta?
The G70 mate,

I had a good race until someone ever so slightly bumped me on the last left hander before the downhill section, classic move 🤨

ANyone passing through McPhillamy needs to stare at a mirror for a while. Asking for a plane crash.
