I think I will stick to just setting lap times for the daily races rather than actually race 🫣 Been meeting a lot of dirty drivers lately. Just now, i was so excited that
@NikNakTobasco and I were in the same lobby. Since he is an 👽 he of course was in pole position and I think I started 9th or 10th but was feeling confident!
Then reality hit 🤣
Twice in the same race, first time was lap 1 after bus stop, the guy in front of me spins out and GT logic pointed at me and I heard a deep voice say "No ghost for you!"
So he collected me and I drop quite a few positions and have damage. Same happens lap 3 and I find myself last. I manage to catch up and overtake a few people. Lap 4 i come up to a particular driver who i have seen punt people off many times this week, with no penalties EVER given against him.
He makes a tiny mistake and I make the pass towards the start of section 4. He's still right behind me when we start lap 5 and he uses draft on the straight to take back his position. He outbrakes himself so we are back to side by side and I have a slight speed advantage. And then... It's good night and bye bye for me 😢
Highlights of the race below... At least I got to see NNT take 3 rave wins in a row, well done sir 🎉🥳
Also wanted to say thank you to
@Nebuc72 for suggesting the change in steering sensitivity! Found my comfort zone around setting 5 (was zero before). I didn't manage to improve my Race C time however, the M6 is much more responsive now and I'm extremely consistent with the new handling 🙂
The biggest difference the change made was in Race B and the GTR. The car itself is 100 times more drivable now and I even slashed my previous qualy time by almost half a second. Was 1:54:9 and now 1:54:5 so thanks again 🙂
