Hands down Daily Race C is the best track and car combo I've experienced that I can remember. Maybe because im a C driver that has boosted up to B and getting top 3-7 finishes. This track suits my driving style so much.

Really gonna miss it.
Had a couple of attempts at it yesterday and I hated it.

Just can't do consistent laps.

Enjoying Race B alot more this week.

Can't you just click the image, grab a corner and size it down when you drop it in so more than one fits per line?

Completely disenchanted with racing this week, not sure why. Did a couple laps here and there since it looks like there's fun to be had, but I ain't feelin' it. 🤣

Erm. You probably can 😆 sometimes the easiest things escape me!

Shame on your racing week bud, Willow has been messy for me but only managed to lose a bit of DR to it, Brands Indy is always fun but only for a little while and Tokyo has been the stand out for me, although at that length you cant do too many in a day 😁

I welcome a fun race B to the roster this week

Wish I got onto this combo earlier in the week.

3 more races. 1st one started well until I was taken out by a car rejoining. Just missed out on DR increase.

2nd race started 12th in a lobby with 1 A+, 6 A and the rest all B. Finished 6th or 7th for a nice boost.

3rd race was an all B lobby and got this.

Missed out on CRB as on lap 2 I'd fallen to 3rd, and we were too close to each other and had a bit of nose to tail action with the 3 of us on the top corner.

Going away for 4 nights on Wednesday so hoping the next lot of Daily Races aren't combos that I enjoy. Give them to me next week while I'm home and still on leave from work.

Excited for the Gilles Villeneuve track that will be featured in this week's dailies. Just don't know if it will be Gr. 4 or 3. It's a Race C so at least I hope there's strategy involved.

Morning everyone - what's everyone's thoughts on the dailies this week?

SR and DR seem like they're on for daily race A but looks a bit dull. So seems like a choice between B and C - not driven either track before.

Surprised CGV came so late in the dailies after the Spec III update. Gr.4 machinery I love so driving around this track will be a welcome change from Gr.3 machinery.

I've been loving Race C at Tokyo, every race seems to follow it's own distinct pattern. Even when I've had a problem and lost a ton of time, I still to find one or two other cars with me to fight over bottom places with. Some races I'm in a slipstream group jockying for position while not slowing the pack. Sometimes I'm doing all I can to just about cling on at the back of a slipstream group led by fast drivers. Sometimes I'm failing to cling on to the back of the slipstreaming group. Sometimes I'm left on my own, sometimes with one drafting buddy, sometimes taking it easy looking after tyres, while I wait patiently at the back of a line for the time to strke.

I finished the week with the biggest high, and biggest low. Final two slots of the week, on target for a 4th or 5th, when it completely slips my mind to pit as I arrive at the hairpin, real world issues on my mind! Then, the last slot of the week, finally my first win of the week!

No dailys for me now this week, it's GTWS time, I'll be preparing for that instead.

I'll probably be giving Daytona a little bash until the novelty wears off, but I'll be intrigued to see Group 3 at Catalunya. Barcelona has always been a good venue for testing any perceived improvement in my driving ability, which i will hopefully see after some Power Pack action these past few weeks.

Definitely interested in Race A this week, with that newly-added Mazda Roadster 12R @ Daytona Road Corse! I'm off today, too, so I'll likely be able to get some qualifying laps in.

Did a few race C quali laps. My first thought is that it's a bit of a boring track? I'm not saying I'm good at it, but it's just a succession of straights and chicanes. Also no strategy in the race. But maybe it will turn out to be fun, who knows! Gonna try at least a couple of races tomorrow.

Just me or does Race C seems like a bit of a missed opportunity this week? Just a straight sprint with no strategy and it's all over under 18 mins. Shame, a bit of strategy would've been nice!

Didnt try the new races yet but I noticed something positive for daily C.

The ugly G70 is not the dominant car on the leaderboards.
The race seems a one make as usual in GR.4 but at least we have a fun car to drive (hello 155! long time no see)

The other positive thing...they semmed to ditch the custom slipstream and we are back to the "real" one.
Custom slipstream was one of the worst things they implemented in sport mode to make the races feel more "attractive".
It gaves the illusion of pace killing the gaps between the fast drivers and the not so fast ones in a completeley arcadey way.

Having a chicane at the end of a long straight, custom slipstream would mean disaster so it is a smart move IMO.

Race A seems a good one and Im totally not interested in race B this week.

I found every race of the week abysmal.

Until i remembered, I'm here to learn. So I'll try all 3 of them. :scared: Good luck if you're in my lobby. :D

Decided to treat myself today by only working 10.5 hours (lazy, I know 🤣) and decided to look at this week's options and CJV looks the most attractive event for me.

Did a few laps and an encouraging start but need to watch Tidge's vid to improve and also find out what the actual race looks like!

Jaysus

Only had an hour on race B and it is waaaaaaay out of my skill level 😂😂😂

Struggling to get under a 1.44 🤦‍♂️

How’s C looking is it a bit more beginner friendly?

Here's the latest guide for those interested. For me Daily Race A is the best this week, especially if you get the right lobby some superb racing to be had!

This couldn’t have come at a better time 😂😂😂😂

Can anyone with more GT7 BOP knowledge than me explain why the Alfa 155 and the CGV circuit seem to be the quickest combo? After seeing the G70 so often. I'm not complaining of course.

3 things typically:

1. The Alfa turns better and has better traction ergo acceleration.

2. It’s faster revving and you don’t need torque as much and it’s gearing is much better suited than the G70

3. It can carry more (and stable speed over the curbs)

While it looks like a big circuit it is mostly point squirt repeat.
