You're literally just asking an AI to try and "roast me" based on my post history. Give up already. Maybe make another alt account so you can send me more slurs in private messages.
Imagine using a brown emoji because your last remaining brain cell couldn't formulate an actual argument.

Keep clicking that icon, it's the only thing matching the quality of your posts.

Interesting! Looks like half hour qualifying in the G70 is in my near future to see if I can find the same secret sauce.

Is the gearing the same?
Mostly, it can handle a little more shifting down. You can brake a touch later and turn in a bit easier, not as fast in a straight line though and hates sausage kerbs that the Mazda just glides over.

I did some qualifying laps for Daily Race A today, and I love the way the Murcielago drives - though I'm unsure of what it is that I like so much about it. I think one factor is that it's AWD so it accelerates nicely, yet I never feel like I'm understeering that badly when I push it through a corner.

Just had to share this quick video of Race A. I was in my 2nd race and tbh just learning the track etc and drive a dream car in VR. The 3 guys ahead had been battling for the whole lap and I drove watching. Then a gap opened and decided to pass, ooooops what an error! 😳.
Amazingly, the blue car after deliberately knocking me off avoided a penalty but I received 1 for track limits 🤣🤣🤣🤣. What a joke 🤡, oh how I laughed 🙄

I've seen that guy behaving to that form plenty of times. They've got a short fuse, and I'm convinced they've missed a letter off their username.

but my issue is with the franchise tourists who literally just play this game for the daily races,
Mate, two things I'd like to point out if I may...

1. The average age on this thread would point to a lot of more mature gamers who've probably experienced the entire lifespan of the series. Some have been here from day one, some arrived later, but we all started somewhere.

2. This is a 1,700-page thread with a lot of long-term regular contributors, so "tourists" feels a little unfair.

On a personal note, I've been with the series since the original GT on PS1. I've got the platinum trophy, 100% Circuit Experiences and all gold licences, spent years tuning everything from everyday hatchbacks to all manner of JDM cars inspired by my monthly Max Power cover car aspirations, and remember leaving my console running all day to finish endurance races while I was at school. Also, B spec Bob was somebody I’ll always remember quite fondly.

These days I race almost exclusively in VR because, after exploring pretty much every corner of Gran Turismo over the years, Sport Mode offers something the rest of the game doesn't: controlled variety with variable difficulty every race.

Edit: corrected the page count.

Exactly. He's gone from my friends list on PSN too.....

Perhaps @Famine could shed some light on it? - @brockie has some strange posts, now showing location as Uzbekistan, and now a banned account.
If he's gone from PSN as well it sounds like a mental health crisis/breakdown to be honest. Uncharacteristic behaviour for sure, I can't imagine a few poo emojis would actually get somebody that riled up..

There was an odd message that was deleted a couple of days ago when I said about not having a clue that said something like "don't worry me and brockie are going to know each other real good." probably should have taken that hint then. Still thinking it's a hack atm.

Edit: that's nothing on you btw neb, you make a good point.

It's definitely been a bizarre few days between a few people here!

I'm sure he is fine, but does anyone have an email or whassap they could pop him a note on to check he's ok?

Back to racing @NevilleNobody @Bondwhar the G70 didn't give me any extra pace, I think I have to resign myself to the fact that I'm not able to change cars mid week, just feels off to me every time I try it.

Don't look at me, I've been tied up working for a new client for three weeks and only occasionally check in. I'm out on a different job right now, but it's not enthralling.

When I do get a chance to sit down next I'm going to have to tidy this... whatever it is up though. Yay.

The current "Where's Brockie" chatter should be taken to a group DM between interested parties. While I'm sure some of you have concerns for someone who has spent time in this thread more than others, as (some of) you know (better than others), moderation is between the member in question and the staff, not for public discourse in threads; doing so turns the topic of the thread from whatever it was into moderation discussion and a good chunk of the point of moderation is to keep threads on-topic...

There's also a fun nugget of how far GT online's variety has fallen that would make for a nice standalone thread once I can unpick it from... the rest of it.

Also MEME RACE, yay!

Thanks for the response, apologies if we've breached the guidelines! 🤐
