Honestly, this is actually a very rare experience. Sure, during updates it goes down but, not just random like this.

Since this seems to be related to an AWS outage, it won't require any patch or fix on PDs side, they just have to wait it out. Therefore it shouldn't affect your tickets

They're just giving you the day 1 experience. I can't remember exactly how soon it was but it went down for several days just after launch.

They've updated the interruption message on the website and confirmed that it's the AWS outage that's affecting them.
