Is there a slight shift downward in participation numbers for the TTs? Is this a sign that we've gone beyond peak player numbers? I used TT end dates rather than numbers to show that there is no clear seasonal trend. There may be a slight dip in Jul/Aug annually, but this year it is off a lower base.

The numbers are still high, but the average participation before the latest Mercedes cross-platform event ending Jul 2026 was 159,914, while the average for the 8 events after that is 152,456.

There is no clear indication of trend using those two larger events that happen more or less annually, so maybe I'm reading too much into recent data points:

Mercedes cross-platform:
Aug 2024 - 186,368
Jul 2025 - 268,097
Jul 2026 - 242,391

Honda eMS:
5 Nov 2023 - 114,114
1 Sep 2024 - 156,261
28 Sep 2025 - 225,169
This event does show a clear upward trend, but it would be interesting to see, if the event happens in Sep 2026 too, what the numbers are.

The red line is a 10-event moving average.

I definitely have a love-hate relationship with Laguna Seca...and these new physics do not help that. I love a car turning more when you turn...less...what? That's...not how cars work.

Did a solid 41 laps for my first session and got myself down to a 1:25.025, with optimums of a 1:24.848.

Need this thing to rotate more consistently to really be able to pick up more time, but again...the front wheels either make the car not turn...or they do and you turn to much. It lacks logic.

The new TT on the Lagune track, featuring one of the rare excellent VGTs—so much fun!

The one at the Nürburgring is bound to give quite a few players trouble, judging by my ranking—even though my time wasn't anything special.

I finally had time to do the Ioniq 6 N TT at Nurb and man, thst is had to be the most fun and amazing TT I've done in the game using an EV, basically because it doesn't feel like an EV 🤣🤣🤣 kudos to Hyundai, they are getting there with how an sport EV car needs to be

I've always absolutely hated Laguna seca and sure as hell, I still do. The stipid sausage kerbs just turn it into a game ofnchicken every corner. I have a safe silver, not sure if I can be bothered trying for gold. Just an awful, awful track.

I agree 100%....... 😣

^^Very very nasty^^!

Viscous rear torque exiting slow speed corners like first and last turn. Happy to grab top 10 after an unusual lack of pace I delivered yesterday afternoon. (Mostly due to difficulty of track).

Tried 1 lap without CSA on strong and quit after the first sector, 'Fark that!' was my thoughts.

Re-equipped it, and actually only bled 3 tenths to Damians lap from turn 1 onwards (which had a disastrous exit). I shall not return here as not even a single mile did I enjoy here. Really don't like LS.

THANK YOU for doing statistics week in week out for years!

Does Ioniq has nitro or not?
I can't use it nowhere...

It has an overtake mode and you have to map a button to use it, if one is not mapped already. It seems to be active all the time when you press it and you have any acceleration. When you brake, it disengages. If you have a wheel, you could hold it down with the help of a rubber band or something similar.

I did a short session so it’s not entirely fair, especially in relation to my modest skills.

CSA Strong = far too much understeer,
CSA off = sudden and violent oversteer,

CSA Weak = that’s an interesting combination for me.

Nevertheless, I am nowhere at the moment...

But I usually find using weak ABS directly counters the understeer of strong CSA.

Never really understood how to handle weak CSA, it always seems to cut out when its needed the most, then suddenly return when the damage is done.

Appreciate your insights sir, although I'll experiment with your ideas in a future combo.

I run weak by default and find it only steps in if I am about to lose it. It may not save me, but can at times. Strong feels like itis dialed up to 11, only use that on really sketchy cars.

But battery stays at 100% whole time, is that even matter?
I just don't have way to see is overtake active...
I'm playing from cocpit view.

It's not the battery; I believe you have no control over that.

Re overtake, not sure about cockpit view, but change to bumper view just to see it and map a button, then you can return to cockpit. The overtake icon is bottom right of the screen in bumper cam view.

Really not getting enough time to get to learn the new physics unfortunately so I'm a little off the pace at the moment. Managed 40 mins or so in the Honda this morning for a reasonable start, but would like to get into the 24's really. At least this one is 2wks. Not investing the Ioniq6 - given my time constraints, a 10 minute lap isn't going to work out well

Well, after the first couple days with this event my goal quickly became "don't get bronze" so mission accomplished I guess. I might be able to drop some more time but it would require a pretty lackadaisical level of concern for my own sanity.

Not worth adding the image A had 30 mins early this morning. Picked up a tenth and 30 places at Laguna Seca. ABS weak only. What’s the general consensus on the other aids with the new physics?

In most cars that benefitted from trail-braking, I usually would find Default to help me there. But with how hard the cars seem to pivot when you let off the brakes now, Weak is a better option to give you more control over when that happens.

CSA seems more or less the same - Weak is basically useless, and half the time I wonder what Strong does as I'm sawing back and forth on my wheel, violently.

I was able to put some real time into Laguna and the Honda. I freaking LOVE busting this things ass around this track!!! What fun!! This run got P3 in the USA. I used CSA strong and Default ABS. I made a few mistakes, so some time left. I have the sectors to hit the hight .3xx to low .4xx's and may go after it just because the car is a blast. And with NO BEER. Just wait until I get my beer back. 🤣 damn diet 🤬
YT replay and shared the replay in showcase.

Adam, in no uncertain terms: what the ****. A FULL SECOND faster? Took what was my unimpressive, but safe, gold time, to a 2.99%.

I literally do not understand where I'm losing all this time, or where you find any of the grip: because this car has absolutely none. It's impossible to get a fast, clean lap. I was over a full second and a half slower than my best time because I absolutely cannot find any additional time...or the car crashes (when I also hadn't found more time).

Also: **** you Polyphony for not doing a single thing about the ghost problem we already have, except make it worse. It basically makes this TT impossible for me, as I really need that ghost to follow, and I need it to reset at every sector.

This is ********. Honestly.

Did what I though was a pretty good lap at Laguna, perfect no, but as good as other laps that yield me 2 to 2.5pc off the top time.

I am in the 27s....I just dont get it.
