- UCD/LCD content may be "exclusive content for a limited time," but I like the fact that I can purchase as many as I want as long as I have sufficient money.
I am a style player who prefers to own multiple favorite models and enjoy them in different tunes and livery.
And while I have played both Forza and GT for many years, but Forza has become more and more difficult to have such fun with each year of exclusive content.
GT's current style is not perfect either, but still, there is nothing better than being able to own 10 or 100 cars in my garage that I like.
I think GT is the most fun game to drive FWD, especially using a tuned car with PP500-600 on a narrow circuit like Tokyo Expressway.
Today's racing games are geared toward global sales, and nearly all Japanese racing game developers have either gone bankrupt or stopped making racing games for consoles.
As a result, many current racing game car lists were similar, especially JDM, which was so boring it was as if the list was shared by all developers. (There were exceptions, of course, such as Forza)
But PD is a Japanese developer. They are of course not unmindful of sales in foreign markets, but still, JDM's lineup in GT is clearly different from other games.
Non-sport style mass-market cars like the Prius and Crown, and kei cars like the Copen and Beat, these cars would be hard to find in any other console racing game today.
They are the last hope for those who once loved Japanese console racing games.
One thing I disliked in GT was the difficulty in giving my car a personality.
Not that I am totally dissatisfied with the current content, but still, the wide body conversions and the various body kits available for almost all road cars were unthinkable in the past GTs and made owning and customizing a variety of cars fun.
