Not sure if we should post the Power Pack "Weeklies" here but feel free to move this,Mods.
Decided to right my wrongs in the PP. I have a few not 1st placers, even a 6th and 8th. Chose a couple of FF races and an American Muscle one at RA. Good racing. It's called payback,Sophy.

Maybe I am rusty after a long break, or not as good as I would like to think, but I find Super Formula very difficult. In Sport races I tend to do well in the formula cars but starting from 20th the best I have managed thus far is P10. Going to have to go back to the drawing board on getting my times down. I’m lapping approx. 1:31-2 in the Honda SF2023 on RMs with switch to IM during the rain.

Try it without stopping for IMs. I absolutely loathe the SF cars, it doesn’t get too wet to switch from Mediums. I ended up winning by ~5 seconds not stopping.

This was how it went for me too.

Reading the surface water meter is a dark art, but on the way up you can get about a third of the way past the first marker so long as it's still only mostly light blue on the radar while still on slicks. If it passes that you'll need to wait until it's about a third of the way below it before slicks become viable again.

I used the more powerful and lighter SF19 though.

For the SF race, AI do under 1:30s.

The weather is somewhat like a Russian Roulette, one (rare) instance it is dry, and the other will have rain halfway the race, but it will not go severe. If the latter happens, IMs then stay out one lap after AIs boxed in. Once set a considerable distance, then switch back to dry tires, preferably Mediums since Autopolis is well known tire shredder.

Consistent 1:28s or 29s would deem passable.

(Or if you want to challenge yourself, do a Ferrari strategy!)

I find the wetness in the middle of that race is just drivable on old RS tyres, so I just use those till end of lap 8 then switch to a fresh pair. My wetter laps are slow, but less slow than a 2 stop strategy

Played on hard but I didn't want to spend too long on it, but got half way into it 1st attempt on softs after pitting for inters and I just wasn't making any ground on them. I had no downforce setup but they were still quicker down the straights and also quicker in the corners. 2nd attempt ran hards and tried to go the entire race without pitting. Last 5 laps were intense after I got up to 2nd when they pitted and then re-pitted when it dried up, one got past me and then the entire field seemed to lined up for the last 3 laps. I've never blocked so strategically in my life and got 3rd.

I hate those races.

As for the PowerPack weekly challenges, I believe they can fit here in this thread, I do believe the prizes will change each week, with engine or car tickets for the third race.
So now that we can use our own garage cars in the powerpack I chose to overpower the competition.

Long time to post here but better late than ... pregnant they say 🤣

The race caught my attention are at CGV with the German land cars .
Mostly cause i like the track from very old days.
Anyway i run this many many times with many cars but the damn AI are ridiculous far from the start.
Sometimes i won with lap over 1.40's but also settle to second place even running under 40's.
Today the front runner AI clocks T 6.37- 6.38 total time 🥵.
Unfortunately all this ruins the chance to use more cars if you want to win .
At the end i set the Disaster Porsche S20 and get my revenge multiple times .

Also i share the race .... Smoothbore12 CGV
No clean race bonus ( push a Porsche from behind at the finish line who blocked my way) but i don't care .

Sorry cause it's in Greek but i hope i can clear it out.
Tyres are RH and racing gear box.
From second page has all the trio of air filter silencer etc. plus racing pads and brakes.
Weight reduction up to 3 , racing clutch and flywheel.

I wonder what @ROCKET JOE can do with her since is way better old camel than me😂
Personally from whatever i try , nothing can match the S20 bitch .

Well I feel silly now. Stuck with the mediums throughout Super Formula at Autopolis and had no issue, thanks also to @Famine who recommended the SF2019 instead, a much more powerful and nimble machine. I felt a tad sacrilegious using the Toyota as a Honda fanboi myself, but the job is done.

After cleaning up the rest of the races, won my 77th Lexus LFA.

April – Week 4
It’s an interesting week, but I haven't been able to race the way I wanted to. Conditions:
Gamepad | Automatic transmission | Race Difficulty – Hard

#5 | Super Formula | Autopolis International Racing Course
SF19 Super Formula / Honda ‘19 | PP 928 | RM tyres | FM 1 | no pit | Race Difficulty – Normal

After many attempts on hard difficulty, my best achievement was second place before the last lap. On the last lap, I made a U-turn due to worn tyres. I was forced to switch to normal difficulty and that was the only way I could win.

#4 | Schwarzwald League | Circuit Gilles-Villeneuve
RUF CTR3 ‘07 | PP 700 | RS tyres

It was quite difficult to win at CTR3. I didn't intentionally cut corners 2 times.

#3 | Nissan GT-R Cup | Dragon Trail – Gardens
Nismo 400R ‘95 | PP 700 | RS tyres

400R is a good, powerful car, but the handling is mediocre. He is very reluctant to enter corners.

#2 | Special Race – Renault Twingo – One-Make | Autodrome Lago Maggiore Centre
Renault Twingo ‘93 | PP 561 | RS tyres

I made all possible improvements for Twingo and it turned into a monster. At the end of the race, I beat the last opponent by a lap.

#1 | Sunday Cup | Tokyo Expressway – Center Clockwise
Renault Captur S Edition '21 | PP 380 | CS tyres

Captur within the PP 400 was good enough to win the race.

First of all, I did not cut the chicken. No retirement. Therefore, no karma. Get the reference?

And then, they all run on Racing Hards. Seems to be the ideal tire choice knowing you are pressed for time here; with only 4 laps given to you and the fact that the kerbs on this track are unforgiving.

Nice blend @RCKakashi14 .
I agree that racing tyres are the way to go there.
They allow you to step on throttle earlier and brake a bit better .
You also prove am right, S20 is outrageous fast at 700pp and perhaps the faster from German land there.
In the early days Parker was the AI to chase but Freytag proved the faster of all since is able to clock at 37's and not much cars are able to run under that at least without " chicken" cut.😂
That's why i share my race .

I did the race with same field 5 times ( Freytag in the lead ) till achieve my best outcome .

Am waiting @ROCKET JOE if he have the appetite to deal with it since S20 is one of his favourite cars when it's about Porsche.

PS
Also i share my settings, you see , am not working for CIA like you 🤣

CGV is a track that tests a car's traction and your time is determined how you can quickly exit the corners.

Knowing how broken 4WD physics are in this game, it is of no surprise why the 992 Turbo S will shine, along with the fact that it has an explosive engine shoved in the rear.

Better late then never, here are my cars for this week:
hard difficulty, ps4 + controller, manual, only ABS weak

Sunday Cup
: Stock Golf I GTI '83. 371PP, first win of the week. CRB ✅
Nissan GT-R Cup: Nissan Skyline 2000 GT-R (KPGC110) '73 with an LZ20B-swap. 750bhp, racing hard, suspension, gearbox, etc. Little tailhappy but win + CRB ✅
Schwarzwald League: Mercedes AMG GT Black Series '20. Barely made it. CRB🚩
Super Formula: Super Formula Toyota '23. Changed to inters after lap 3, but was in doubt if it was needed... Luckily it was just enough and everybody else also pitted.. Changed first to new mediums and had an al in al easy win... CRB🚩 because of a spin in T8 being a bit to early on throttle.
Special Event: Slapped some sport medium on and had an easy win. CRB✅

I've read, you're waiting for my response mate. I can confirm I had the appetite ...

First of all, your run has truly been smooth operating, you did a very good job there. Although I'd always prefer clean racing ... :sly:
I did 4 runs all in all, 2 x 2 to be precise. 2 were on RH with your posted setup, 2 were on SS with additional power. And that is something I'd actually recommend. The car sure is more of a handful then and you get that Slippery When Wet feel quite often ... but I had a lot of fun with it and the fastest total btw.

Ok, here is my best result with RH compound, it's been a clean race and of course, without shortcutting any chicanes :

The Turbo S is a hot little cannonball, isn't it ?

Started on Wets, Fuel Map 1. Short shift at 7k rpm.

Then pit at Lap 7, in which the sun decided to show up fresh at work, brightening our day. So I switched to Mediums and refueled.

Flying laps afterwards. And I took the License S-10 to heart, while the AI are dumb enough to keep using Intermediates that wear out pretty quickly.

Profit.

Setup is highly classified and requires a signed consent form from the office of the president.
