Wow this is totally of topic but i just saw a commercial on T.V for SA PHAT!.
And i found out that my gamestore is having a late night opening, on thursday after the mall closes, so theres a good chance ill get the game a day early like they did in the U.S YESSS!!!

I should really turn my TV on again, its only been on while I've been eating dinner or playing GTA: VC or watching motorsport (or dvd's)...But not much TV as such.

Yes, but there isn't any TV Trailers on Free-to-Air TV here for San Andreas.

And this is getting really Off-Topic...back to cheats...;)

OK, we're being CHEATed by the commercial networks not showing these ads . I don't have anything else to add but if you want to continue this, do so in the off-topic thread.

I am curious at how many cheats they have placed in this game, whether they have reduced them in order for realism and for people to play the missions, or increased them for the non-storyline-interested players to be able to have some fun and create havoc.

So, whenever the proper cheats get posted up, I wouldn't mind knowing how long the list of cheats is compared to GTA 3 and Vice City.

I think it may be longer, but I HOPE it is shorter (not that I'll use them anyway). I just think too many is plain stupid.

Yeah. I know a few people that didn't get past any mission on Vice City after they had unlocked the Mainland. That's because all they wanted to do was cheat and kill everyone.

Personally, I think going around and killing everyone non-stop is boring, but that's not the point. The point is, the many cheats incited people to only do a few missions. I think cheating should only be enabled AFTER the Storyline missions are complete, but I know that won't happen.

I won't be using them anyway. I think each person buys the game for a different reason: to each his own!

Oh yeah, definately. I don't care if people do this, it was just a personal opinion. And of course, I definately won't be using cheats.

I never have used cheats in GTA, GTA VC abd I wont in GTA SA, I found GTA VC quite easy, so I dont see the point of useing cheats.

No, neither do I anymore. I really don't understand why I learnt them, for Vice City especially. I don't understand myself sometimes.

I end up using the cheats for me to DO the storyline missions. For reasons like, me not being able to shoot acurately, or not being able to shake the cops. I do this so I can get value out of the game I bought. I'm not really interested in running around mowing random people over.

Yeah, that's fine. I'm just stating opinions of my own.

Also, not cheating doesn't mean "mowing random citizens down". There are many ways to get money up, or whatever you desire. But that's your choice and I respect that.

Oh my god. They're exactly the same. They could have at least changed the buttons.

Okay, I'm now going to de-learn the Health and Cop Cheats. I already de-learnt the Armour Cheat.

I really hope that isn't real. They even have cheats for things like the Bloodrnig Banger, Hotring Racer, etc. Real motivated Rockstar. 👎

By the way, thank you Mediaman.

Yeah, well I'm going to go through the process of un-learning them. It's possible, I did it with GTA 3 when Vice City came out, and even though they had differently-buttoned codes, I'm going to act as if I don't know them.

Rockstar's laziness have really annoyed me with this.

Yeah but I just have a habbit from VC that I'd use the health cheat when I was jumping onto a bike I'd just fallen from. Bad habbit I know, but it comes from doing hours of pointless jumps and keeping the same bike the whole time.

Yeah, same here. But to be honest, so far in San Andreas, I've forgotten all about the Cheat Codes. I just don't feel the urge to use them.

I had a play round with the cheats today, being that they are the same as VC and i know the basic ones by heart, just to get used to the weapons and targeting then i overwrote my game with a non cheat one and here i am. lol

Lol. I'm slowly unlearning, I know when I am. It's when I start havign to think carefully about the combinations.

I can't really remember the Health Cheat as well anymore, but the Cop one is so easy to remember, that it will take a while.

I haven't felt the urge to use it yet, even though I've died a few times.

One thing i am finding without using cheats, its soo hard to get weapons early in the game, no Ammunations are open?. Oh well makes it more fun that way, its harder.

So far the guns I've used are: the Pistol, Silenced Pistol, 2 types of Uzis and the Police Shotgun. On top of that I've used Molotovs, a Knife (one of my favourite Weapons after I've seen all the different animations for everything!), a Pool Cue, a Police Baton and a Steel Baseball/Softball Bat.

I always pick up Pistols and Uzis, so I don't care for the weapon cheat. I haven't found using the Weapons or getting them difficult at all. Everyone's experience is different I suppose.

And yes, the Ammu-Nations are locked for now. I don't know when they open, and please, nobody tell me. Post it in the Spoiler Thread if you 'need' to post it.

Thanks for the spoiler

I think I'll have trouble un-learning the health cheat but I've forgotten the others already. Oooh, I feel like such an outcast not having this game.
