GTA Online Thread (Useful Links in OP)

Just a quick update for those of you who still play GTA Online but with the Independence Day content event week being updated today the
following items can now be obtained through the business battles event's in free roam public/private lobbies.

Statue Of Happiness T-shirt
Pisswasser Beer Hat
Benedict Beer Hat
Patriot Beer Hat
Supa Wet Beer Hat

These items were only previously available from Special Cargo drops or if you happened to land lucky and were able to do clothing glitches to get them that have since been patched.

Will be available until next Thursday so good hunting if you like collecting clothing items for your character!
 
Took my F620 for a spin on the freeway. Suddenly a Ruiner in front of me slammed on the brakes. Unable to stop in time I hit the back of the Ruiner and knocked the driver unconscious. As a law-abiding citizen I called 911 for an ambulance and because it was nighttime I decided to shoot a flare to signal the position.

Unfortunately, the flare landed on the hood of my F620, which soon caught fire. As I was running for my life, the ambulance arrived. Parked up next the two vehicles and... boom.

Moments later, residents in the area waking up to the sound of sirens could see a man running across the beach, chased by a dozen police officers and desperately pleading his innocence while at the same time trying to explain what had happened to the insurance company over the phone.
 
I wound up accidently sniping a friend of mine out of the air with an Oppressor Mk II rocket yesterday while we were trying to get a business battle crate. :lol: I free aimed the rocket into a tank at Zancudo and he flew right into the path with his Mk II. On the bright side, I added another beer hat to my collection so that was a plus.
 
I'm looking to open the tour lobby in 30-45 minutes, with the tour to begin sometime after when I get my 🤬 together. I'm cleaning up in the garden and I'll be on shortly. Looking at doing something different tonight. Possibly involving ultralights. Maybe blimps. All sorts of fun stuff.
 
Tonight's tour room will open about 930PM EDT, or about 45 minutes from now. I'm in the garden cleaning up from pruning and cultivating. Afterwards I will need to wash the tomato glue off my hands, arms, face, neck, and other regions it shouldn't have reached. :lol:

Not sure if tonight's tour will involve bicycles, boats, scuba suits, lighter than air craft, or winged things. Maybe we'll drive a car to a boat with wings and wingsuit to a bicycle while wearing a scuba suit and drinking Pißwasser. Who knows.
 
Tonight's tour lobby should be open for 8:30ish(about 2.5hrs from now) with invites to go out afterwards. This will be a bit of a slower paced bicycle tour. Beach cruiser speeds slow. It should be a relaxing time.

My interest in GTA dropped off for a while. Interested to see exactly what entirely new location they come up with.
 
I just hope they don't build any more bunkers or facilities in my pristine wilderness! Or take away my 800 rooms hahahha. For the most part; other than that, have at it.
 
Lots of speculation over on GTA Forums about the new DLC but I've been giving it some depth thought myself and think it's likely
to be either an area on the map where we have not done something before (Paleto Islands etc) but the likely reality's I suspect is that we get
access to new interior locations in free roam and the heist itself.

Two very probably locations are that they decide to finish the Mile High Club and we rob it not long after opening.

Second location is Rockford Hills Plaza given that nothing has happened within that building and one of the previous contacts works for security
there so could be inside man if you like.

A far fetched idea but the one I am thinking most of is that we move into North Yankton and we have a snowy heist taking place there to fit in with the holiday season which could also lead to property expansion/use of the airport etc.

Either way it's pleasing to know that there is at least a small update coming and then the "big one" which I am almost certainly will begin preparations for the PS5 era content.

My current plan is for a return to the game on PS5 so it will be exciting to see what the content is then!
 
I've decided to go for Criminal Mastermind again. Three of the four in this run-through did it together on the PS3, and the fourth never did the heists before but is a quick learner. It's become painfully and frustratingly obvious to me and one of the two that did it before that our biggest liability for the challenge is going to be the other one that completed it with us before. It's clear to me now that he only got the award from the rest of us on that run carrying him.
 
After playing this game for almost 7 years, I have only now realized that you can break the fence on the south side of the golf course.
 
Rockstar's Newswire announces the Summer update comes out next Tuesday. Nothing crazy, but I guess it's enough to wet the appetite til' the December Heist. New yacht missions (solo or co-op), more than 12 new cars (2 Open-Wheelers, Benny cars) with new Open-Wheel Races & a Creator, looks like the Casino will be a location for Adversary Modes, & a note of many improvements/fixes.

Gonna assume the 12 cars are actually drip-fed to push the wait as 10-12 weeks of drip-feed would end around November.
