About the headset shouting-part, do you know if it's something everyone in the "lobby" hears/can hear?

Yes! And after forgetting I was online for the 3rd time I got a load of abuse back from another player for my shouting.....

Here's all the residencies you can buy:

Yup like I said, it reminds me of looking at the TDU2 map and all the properties in that game. Never expected this many properties for the GTA5 online mp. 👍

My only question is can we buy the Casino or interact with the Casino when we are a higher level? It also has a horse race track. Cant interact with it yet. Maybe higher level?

I'm assuming, like the heists they talked about, it'll be released at a later date.

As amazing as the TDU2 Casino is, I truly wouldn't be surprised to see that GTA Casino functional later as you said. Especially since it was in San Andreas. If they make the Casino anywhere near as good as the TDU2 casino I will be blown away even more.

Oh Man you can become rich with a Casino
Or very poor.
It also depends on what the Casino has to offer. In TDU2 there are slot machines, Roulette, poker tournaments and much more. You can even test drive and win cars in that game!

I miss the giant Las Vegas- like area in San Andreas. Driving up pyramids and stuff  I would like to see a casino.

Keep getting stuck at the map loading screen. About the 6th time now. It's the equivalent of the Gran Turismo 5 black screen this is.

Well that's bad timing, as soon as I was booted off before even starting the first race I can no longer rejoin online.

Also im wondering, Is everyone rushing to the airport like IV?
Not that I am aware of. Most people are too busy robbing stores and doing anything they can to make money.

For those having connection issues, its going to take a while before its stable. Probably a couple days or maybe even weeks. There is a LOT going on in this game all at once especially considering you can have 16 players online at the same time. And no I am not defending Rockstar. I guess I have just become immune to games not working properly on release. I am just thankful I was able to get in for 3 solid hours yesterday. Got very lucky.

I think it's understandable, if it were CoD or something it would have been a different story. I'll wait patiently and hope the new servers are going to be installed soon :D

COD also has problems with every launch. COD Ghost will also have launch day problems. Not show how people forget this but they always do. Every mp game has problems at launch. Its a shame it has come to this, but that's how it is. I am amazed GTA5 Online worked at all yesterday. Truly amazed.

I will admit that his whole issue with the initial servers does feel like TDU2.

EDIT: I can't get passed the character creation screen. I'll hit save and continue, name my character and nothing happens.

Yup. The entire GTA5 online server setup is identical to TDU2. Same MMO setup. GTA5 online is using the EXACT same concept. In a good way but it is VERY hard to execute without major problems. TDU2 took months to work out, lets hope GTA5 gets it fixed much sooner. At least I am able to play with friends in GTAO, which was more than I was able to do in TDU2 for a very long time. I am pretty sure Rockstar just doesn't have enough servers for everyone to play on since the game sold way more than expected. So after a week or so I am sure they are going to get more servers setup. Same issue TDU2 had. Not enough servers to handle the load.

I also just realized that GTAO is using the Cloud. That means that if and when a PC and PS4/Xbox One version does arrive, you SHOULD be able to log on to your account and not have to start all over.

Somehow I lost all my characters when I restarted my system and connected to the rockstar cloud. Oh well. At least I have a cool, better one now. Too bad my tranny Blanquita is gone. Will have to remake her. Easy enough-- any girl with Marston as the father looks like a dude anyway.

4th time I've made my character, and third I've watched the intro video which is unskippable!!!

Got 2 hours of sleep last night thanks to this game. For those of you still struggling to get in, the good news is once you're past the first few mandatory missions, you will have no problem getting back online.

I tried to get in for an hour before it let me, it took some friends over 2 hours. But it's totally worth it once you're in.

I was in. Blanquita was whoopin ass too, but now he/she gone.
