don't know if it works, but you can try to start a GTA race with the classic cars and choose the z-type, i assume you can use those controls in a race too.

I know that when the Surfer van opens all it's doors, the door locks stay in the closed position, hovering in mid air.
 
Cars with folding tops* transition from open to closed (and closed to open) much quicker when the trunk is open.

*Tested on a Felon GT
 
Trying the theory on my Cog Cab now..

And.. it's true!

Heading to my Surano to see if the car's open boot helps with the canvas.

EDIT: Strangely, it does!

I've just noticed that the Rat Truck's trunk opens inwards and get's stuck. doesn't open out like the SlamVan

Mine does the same thing. I went through all my cars yesterday, opening them up, just to see what they do. Tried to open up a stolen car, but the option was grayed out. Looks like you have to own the vehicle.

I have one of the Gold Chrome Dubstas with the spare on the hood, and back hatch. Both open with out trouble. Spares move with the hood/trunk.

Not to mention how it just rubs it's identity at your eyes like some super cop.
 
These pictures are great, but they're too dark to make out anything that isn't in the center of the photo. This seems like a problem with 90% of nighttime or low-light photos in GTA.
 
They're day photos.

I must have the filters so messed up with those shots. Since I still have the clip, I can make a pretty vibrant one for us to see the self loving Infernus.

Somen mind taking a few shots of the Stinger GT? I'm kinda curious as to what the "hood" and "trunck" are with that one.

Not to mention the car would look absolutly beautiful showing off that powerplant in the back.
 
Is there a guaranteed way to remove doors/hoods without scratching your car? I wouldn't mind going around in a Cheetah without the rear.

I know for doors, you open them, and reverse into a pole you can't knock over.

The hood you can try high speed driving, but it may hit your roof.

The rear I have no idea how you'd do that.

Is it just me getting this since the Low rider update (PS4):

  • The AI traffic has just gone insane
  • Vehicles are just spawning in and out
  • NPCs are just screaming and running all over the place

??
