How rare is the PCJ 600 with the single headlight? I managed to randomly find one earlier and made it a personal vehicle as I didn't have a quick motorcycle.
I have only seen the bike 5 times. I just mostly see Akuma's and Bati's in terms of bikes.

Nof really shifting at all. Just bouncing the car off of the rev limiter, which somehow makes the car faster. I do it occasionally from 2nd going into 3rd gear, so I'm not sure if the wiki's wrong, badly worded, or if you can do it in two different spots. Kinda fun making a long number 11 down the road at 40 MPH though. 1500HP mode engaged!

Considering buying a Monroe and/or JB 700. I've had the DB5 before and the performance aleays seemed lacking to me, but it's a great looking car. The Monroe, on the other hand, has some pretty decent performance, but it doesn't look all that stunning to me. Question is: Lambo or Aston?

But seriously, if you have a JB700 laying around anywhere, paint it with a Dark Green or Racing Green metallic! It looks absolutly GORGIOUS!
I take the JB700. :p

My little brother has one with this. Needless to say, it's a sight when we're classic cruising with my Casco.

The single headlight version is pretty rare. If I'm not mistaken, you can't buy it from the internet.

Another racing 'trick' Broughy talks about in one of his videos is 'kerb boosting'. Works well for him because he uses off road wheels which absorb bumps really easily with no hassle. Basically, driving on and off of kerbs gives you a slight speed boost too.

A lot of people wish that curb boosting was patched, and that all wheel types worked the same.

Directed towards those people, not you.

Rockstar actually puts a small, somewhat realistic detail like that and people don't like it?

Off-road tires shouldn't work as good as they do on-road. There should be a trade off that isn't there, but that might be a bit too much realism for GTA.

It looks stupid when people have to use offroad wheels on supercars because of bumps in the road. I watch Broughy1322 and GUN1T123 on YouTube. They both play user-created racetracks all the time and some of them cross over curbs. The offroad wheels minimize the impact of the curbs, but they look out of place.

Tuner, Lowrider, and Muscle wheels have similar effects and don't look nearly as stupid. It's simply the fact that not too many people know about this and think it only applies to the offroad wheels.

Not going over curbs also minimizes the impact of going over the curbs. :sly:

On some tracks, that is the only effective racing line. There's patches of grass in between lanes near the center of the city, and tracks sometimes involve going across those.

Maybe if people who take racing so seriously, didn't take racing on GTA so seriously, and had serious racing on serious racing games, then people wouldn't be serious about using offroad tires on a super car.

Seriously.

I never knew/heard about curb boosting in GTA  You just put two wheels on the inside curb when going 'round a corner? Most of the times I've done that it results in me nearly flipping over :dunce:

As for the "double clutch" boost I've been having a bunch of fun with it during the last few months. Making a Panto accelerate to the likes of a sports car is just too entertaining :D

People actually take the racing aspect of GTA V seriously?

The driving physics in this game were vastly dumbed down compared to those in IV, the same goes for the damage physics as well as the tyre and suspension physics. As such, the skill floor for racing is very low in V, they made it more accessible, but better racers can take advantage of this very easily and hit the skill ceiling almost immediately. Once you know the general layout of the map you can peak at your ability in about 4 races.

They need to go for a realistic driving approach in the next GTA, even more so than in IV, even in that game the cars felt too grippy, but it was tolerable. I mean, just imagine being able to have drift contests which are more than holding the e brake as you drag your ass around the corner at 20 mph calling it a drift.

I've been taking it seriosuly since the game was released.

I partially agree with you. I've seen proof that racing can be properly organized in this game and that people still find ways to get the absolute best times, down to the fraction of a second. Yes, the physics were dumbed down, but the more competitive series are very entertaining to watch.

If there's going to be proper drifting, there needs to be a manual transmission. I don't mind losing the ability to perform drive-bys if I can change the control scheme on the fly. In general gameplay, I wouldn't use manual, but in races and other situations where combat will never happen, I would absolutely use it.

I just pick the heaviest car possible and let races take their natural course.

I like to use my personal car for races but literally nobody ever runs races that aren't Supercars :c

I've pretty much fallen out of serious racing all together. I never knew the tracks well enough to keep up with the field. Honestly, I could care less if people run with offroad tires on their cars, I never really noticed a massive difference with my level of driving with them on. I'm one of those people that puts a little more effort than they should into the look of cars, just so I can keep fhem from looking tacky. I'd much rather run a set of carbon sports wheels on my T20 than something thats used for mudding. You just look idiotic when you're driving around in freeroam.

Moving on to vehical physics, for the life of me, I wish they would remove the automatic countersteering when you slide sideways! It makes no sense to me, since the car loses so much power while sliding. Just let me countersteer by myself! I've played numerous racing games, I don't need to be babied around a corner, when I have decent car control on my own!

Racing in GTA is great, don't really care for all the niches advantage you can get but hey it's mainly about the fun for me :)

Plus pissing people off by blocking is also hilarious

Oh yeah...I blocked someone right at the finish line. For 2nd place. He was still mad, sent me some texts afterwards lmao.

I know it isn't fair, but I would pay to see the ULTIMATE IMPROMPTU RACE!

FEATURING: Boats from the Marquis to the Pegassi Speeder, aircraft including Froggers, Miljets, Valkyries and Hydras. Bikes from Baggers to Batis. And cars like the GTP Van and the Comet come together for one big stunt run to Paleto.

And the winner is the one who had the most fun.

The madness gets real, had one dude call me retarded, assumed I was from the UK but I wasn't, people take racing on this game too seriously sometimes
