Collision is still on.. is the only answer I got.

In all the times I had this event, we never had that thought.. or even bother trying to melee the Beast.

I just read about that gamemode on the GTA Wiki and it said that the player who becomes The Beast is three times stronger than the average character, and can survive two tank shots. Is this true?

Even the ingame alerts tell you that it takes a lot of damage to take him down.

The Beast's main tactic is to stay mobile, since he plays kind of like the early game of Saints Row 4.

But can you drive cars while playing as the beast?

Yeah.

Which is both a blessing and a curse. The Beast's chance of reaching all of the landmarks lie solely on whether or not he's fast, and the opposition uses Pegasus arms-at-war or not.

So, The Beast has options, then:

1: Bati 801. Fast as hell, but if you fall off, you're screwed. Plus, you're incredibly exposed while riding it.
2: Zentorno. Fast as hell, bulletproof rear, but you'll be called a noob for using it, and anyone can blow it up.
3: T20. Fastest supercar on the tight streets of Los Santos, but you'll be partially exposed with the rear window. Not bomb proof.
4: Insurgent. Decent speed, and can push cars out of the way, but you can still get shot through the windows, and surprisingly, the wall between the trunk area and the rear seats. At least you won't get blown up in one shot.
5: Armored Kuruma. Fast, but nowhere close to the supercars. Armor plating on the windows will stop most bullets from hitting you, but that won't stop you from getting blown up.

Eighth time's a charm, it seems. I cruised around in my Surfer for the better part of two hours, ignoring random events , and just couldn't find another one--surfboard or otherwise. So I took one last shot with SASuperAutos, bought the pink one , and, sure enough, it had a rack and board. I can live with the board as long as I've got the rack. They really ought to be customization options at LSC.

A Titan of a Job has disappeared from the job list for me, even though I'm rank 43. Did R* take it offline for some reason or is it happening for other people too?

Managed to get to Level 14 yesterday with a brand new character, starting to saved up a lot of money through car sales (usually around 8k with the Baller and the newer Cavalcade) and missions.

Bought myself the cheapest garage under the freeway in East LS and bought the Dinka Akuma, getting a motorcycle is probably the best thing for the first vehicle it seems.

But here are some things even the Flying Dutchman wouldn't do, arr:

- Fly low over Zancudo... and get a 4 star wanted level.
- Do the event with a bounty, so non participants tried to lock on with their homing launchers.
- Enter the plane when a player nearby shoots you with his RPG.
- Screw up someone else's attempt by giving the friendly nudge.

i disagree :D

Last night I killed a beast with just an AP pistol while driving a car. I must have gotten lucky or something.

What gives?

I kinda thought "Escape a 3 star Wanted level" would be the easiest of my daily objectives today as it's not that uncommon for me to get one (especially with the more frequent random events--armored cars in particular) and it doesn't require other people like my other two objectives, but for the life of me I just can't figure out what's expected of me.

Is it more complicated, like killing a revealed player involved being in a 1on1 DM?

that one is bugged, to solve, completely quit GTA5 (hold ps, close app) and then try again :)

Can't you just get the three stars, then drive into the subway system/tunnels used during the jewelry store heist?

I think he means that no matter how he escapes the police the objective won't be completed. Similar to the stunt jump daily objective bug where no matter how flawlessly you land the jump or how many you do; it still wouldn't complete the objective.

This. The first thing I did was run Rockford Roll (because killing the hotel security draws out 3 stars before even hopping into the Cabrio) but figured it had to be done in free roam, so tried basically the same thing and headed for the transit tunnels. When that didn't work, I thought I might need to escape the wanted level in an open area and hopped into my Buzzard--3 stars didn't get the job done so I went full nut and got a 5 star wanted level that I then escaped. That's when I posed my question here and have since completed the task thanks to the advice that @e rikkie gave. 👍

Speaking of wanted levels, is anyone else experiencing a bug where wanted levels don't appear in the corner of the screen? The map flashes and my controller flashes but I have no idea how many stars I have. On PS4, of course.

Are you sure the HUD is on (it is possible you could have the minimap on but the HUD off as they are seperate)

I've noticed several jobs dropped from my list. What I've found though, it's like you've never done them, as far as the game is concerned. Keep calling whatever contact you want a particular job from, until you get it. It will show as new, do the mission, and it will now show up on your list. I've tested this with 4-5 jobs that I was missing, and has worked every time.

I was even having gang attacks getting unchecked. Only way to fix that, is to do them again.

Some of these free time events are incredibly stupid, like these Drive-By shootings. Of course the guys with the armored Karuma's are going to win...

Is there a way to disable the recording shortcut on ps4 (down arrow + X)?
When I sprint and tap x to enlarge the map I keep triggering record and its just annoying. I dont want to record anything - can I turn it off?

I thought the recording "shortcut" was double tapping the share button, are you sure you haven't changed it?

In light of the rampant exploitation of the game's code or whatever those turds do to cheat, it would be awesome of R* to change the requirements for the Racing Blonde tattoo (hold a world record) to something that can be accomplished by someone that doesn't cheat. I could even live with 500 wins (compared to the 50 required for Racing Brunette).
