GTA Online Thread (Useful Links in OP)

Thinking back to other shooter games like CS:S/CS:GO (Not sure if its only a mod for those games), etc, I would really like to see a gun game-esque game mode. Start off with a Pistol, then get progressively better guns with each kill you get, with the final one being the Minigun. Every time you die to a melee weapon (Probably make it a one-hit-kill with a golf club), you go down one gun.

Carl the Sloth
Its called the Pegassi Monroe, based on a Miura, though there isn't much in terms of detail on the in-game model. It looks more like a kit-car than a Lamborghini.

I have one of these in Hot Pink on my girl character. But after getting a Stinger GT (the red car in this picture, the left one is the normal one, right one is the GT) on my other character I'm thinking the Stinger is slightly sexier.
 
Got my first apartment just next to the beach! It's too bad a view of the beach is totally blocked by two uninteresting buildings, but the pad's very nice.


Also, I got an idea for a car mod: Nitrous. It could be like the nitrous from TBoGT, but there's different nitrous kits you can buy and the more expensive the kit, the more effective the nitrous is (recharge rate, tank capacity, etc.). It can even be used in Races, but it's up to the host to use it or not and additionally adjust how potent nitrous should be.

I haven't played that mode yet, but isn't that just surviving waves of enemies? Gun game is completely different.

No, you get progressively better guns as the waves go on available to you, and the enemies also carry progressively better guns from the Pistol to the Minigun.
 
Think he means against each other not AI players.

I like the idea of a Gun Game style match in Grand Theft Auto, could work quite well, seeing as I sucked in 1st person on CoD. :sly:

Sorry guys, my net just is not cooperating today. It's been hard to play the game for more than 5 minutes without getting booted out of PSN...it just kicked me out of a race with alot of the GTP guys. :banghead:

The last 2 or 3 times I've tried to call the mechanic, he tells me he's busy or something. What the heck am I paying $50 a day for?? He's even attacked me for no reason. I don't even bother, it's easier to steal one than wait for his dumb:censored:.

Has anyone had any mic issues? I had a problem last night, I usually keep the mic on mute so people can't hear me breathing :lol:, when the race or whatever starts up and I un-mute, it doesn't! I even did a rally race as the co-driver (I love those) and he sucked big time, I couldn't communicate with him to U-turn, what gives? They should really have a button assigned for that.

When he delivers the car I always kill him to get the money back :)
 
Speaking of races, I surely had fun with quite a few of the GTP guys over the last hour or so. Especially the last two golf-club race (that bridge really don't like you, Chris :lol:)! Too bad the servers acted up though. But nevertheless, many thanks guys :cheers:

Thanks for the invite, I had a lot of fun and I made a lot of money.

EDIT: I just did Mixed Up With Coke. I got 18k, everyone else in the room, another 5 people got 9k. What the heck is going on here? I've done that mission numerous times on this character. I took out two cement trucks and didn't die. Does effort actually help now or what?

I had some fun races with some of you and yeah, the bridge on the golf court REALLY doesn't like me. :lol:

Just before going to sleep I thought I'd do some arm wrestling. Worst idea I ever had. Elisnutt accepted my challenge and I lost 7 - 2. + Getting only 48RP for a sore arm isn't really encouraging.

I read it right the first time thanks, and I haven't played with anyone all day, I stole some guys Sanchez then got a text saying I took his whip and better watch out, resulting in a 9k bounty. Its still active whenever I join a new lobby.

How can he steal someone's car from inside his apartment?
 
Can confirm it was another online player. Sent some mercenaries after him in the comfort of my apartment....
 
invited friends, crew and current session players and the only person in 10 minutes to show in JoeOfTheFire! Disappointing!
