Just joined into a lobby and while still sitting on my couch in my apartment someone instantly puts a $9000 bounty on me..... Really?

I got the exact same bounty too but I managed to survive. I think my bounty came from stealing a car for Simeon's texts.
 
Hmm, didn't know that. Also, had some guy on a mic tell his buddy he put a bounty on me..... I can hear you guys....
 
Man I really really hope there's a car-themed DLC. The cars in the game alone is reason enough to play it. :D
 
This game needs a Dukes from GTA4.... I mean there's a damn Dixie horn in the game....
 
I have been trolling players with my wonderful Bounty. I would chase them around town in all kinds of vehicles and then I would leave the lobby and go back to SP.
 
If they do a car DLC pack, I hope we get a modern version of the Savanna ('64 Impala based car from original SA), and maybe a Hotring Racer!

I've seen this. I car jacked someone off the road, pulled them out and drove away. A few seconds later I got a text message saying "do you know who I am" or something like that, it was from an unknown number. I guess even the A.I. is trying to make a name for themselves :lol:.
 
I think I understand the wacky payouts on missions now, where some people get full and some get half etc.

If you haven't done a certain mission since the update (so you're doing as if for the first time as far as the update can tell) then you'll get double. If you've done said mission since the update already you'll get half.
 
Now that you say it, it actually makes pretty good sense, Iaian. And, Rockstar did mention something about paying less to those who replayed the mission(s), I think.

Yeah, they mean replaying the missions since the update. At least that's what I've been able to work out. Because I know I've done certain missions before the update, and still got full payout after. So it just makes sense.

Online has been very stable for me since I came on last night. No trouble except a PSN booting, then the Cloud Down message, but I got back on straight after I went to SP and then back to Online so I don't know about them still having problems.

That was good, until the network decided we had had enough fun and scattered us around the place.

I got the failed to save message several times yesterday. In every case, a save successful message appeared a few seconds later.

At least it is only missions, I played the Down the Drain race for half an hour or so last night for a constant payout of 3,000RP/$10,000 for the winner.
Was good with one other guy until a third guy joined us an went the wrecking ball method. Didnt change the outcome of 1st/2nd, but took the enjoyment away from the clean slipstream battles we were having.
 
Getting so over rammers spent the last 2 hours just getting hammered every 20seconds. My win loss has gone from being roughly 30 wins 30 losses to 40 wins 60+ losses in sports catagory. Has put me off for abit. Was having some good races with some other crew members last night(sorry for the odd tap, wasnt intentional, was watching tv and talking to mrs at same time. Not great at multitasking lol). Really wish they would put in a rear view mirror though. In saying that, my framerate is shocking enough as it is without one
 
Not specifically aimed at you Godzilla, but accidental taps are fine, it happens. I am guilty too.
The deliberate swerving to stop overtaking, ramming at tight corners and PIT moves annoy me. All of which are pretty easy to spot. Avoiding them is another story.

At the Los Santos Golf Club parking lot. You need to wait until Simeon texts you a list of vehicles to get. If the Obey Tailgater is there, then it should work. Get a helicopter (preferably a fast one) and fly low to the golf course. A black car should be parked in the 3rd to last parking spot. This is the Tailgater. It always spawns in black for some reason. Take it to your garage and you've got yourself a new Tailgater!

Is there a new glitch on the Down The Drain race or something? This morning every time I tried to join a quick race from my phone it put me in a lobby on that race. I did a couple of them and at the end the rest of the people selected replay quick as a flash.

Then I got an invite from speedy and finally got to do a few varied races until he switched to rally, stupid that if your co-driver quits before the race starts (as mine did) you get kicked from the group.
 
Grrrrr, winning races for car mod parts is getting frustrating. I wouldn't mind if everyone raced normally, but every time I get close to first place, I get rammed by the guy in second place and I crash off. Once, I was braking into a corner, and this idiot in an Adder rear-ends me and spins off. He then blames me for wrecking him. I wish unlocks were based upon number of races finished than races won.
EDIT: I noticed on this very page a very similar problem experienced by another person. I don't mind occasional knocks, but people in Adders refusing to brake and ramming you off is aggravating.

No glitch that I am aware of, but it does pay a couple thousand RP for a 1'15 - 1'20 lap.
More fun than Criminal Records IMO too.

EDIT: @Samus, I am at about W30 L60, with about 5 of those wins solo or 2P racing.
