Does that affect it?! *gasp*
Nah I'm just playing. I've gotten my cars all first shot from my mechanic unless he picks up and says "I can't bring it right now boss" when I'm trying to request a car in an unsuitable location.

strange. The last few times I tried calling him for a car, he would say sure and I'd wait for like 10 minutes. And then I'd say screw it and steal a crappy car

Moving your camera around should get him to spawn. Sometimes you'll have the camera pointed at where the game is trying to spawn him. Turn the camera and he'll pop up with your car.

That's what I do. I always try and guess which direction he'll come. The answer's usually never. :c

I've noticed that the mechanic always spawns in the opposite direction that your looking. It's kinda annoying when you sell a car, walk towards one LSC entrance and he spawns at the other. So now, whenever I call the mechanic, I use the analog stick to swing the camera so that I'm looking at my own face. I keep walking with the cam on my face and the mechanic spawns right where I'm headed. :p

I pistol whip him .... its got a nice and satisfying sound to it. :sly:

The mechanic always spawns in the direction you are NOT facing. So if you keep looking all over the place, he will not spawn. This is very important to remember. Don't keep looking all around. In fact look the opposite direction you want him to spawn, and that's where he will spawn. Hope this helps.

On a side note, I always back up as soon as my mechanic gets out and I hit him with the door. Sometimes the door even falls off.

Have any of you played the race called "Jump Jump Jump" by Rockstar. That is a LOT of fun. The first jump requires you to jump at least 10+ busses. Then one of the last jumps has you jump over an overpass. Nice short race but lots of fun especially with 16 players.

I was hanging out with someone who called for a car and had it delivered to the freeway 2 levels above where we were.

I was outside Lester's warehouse when doing a mission, and after delivering a truck, I called for a car just to drive back and protect the other truck some guys were driving.

The mechanic put it on the freeway next to me, and I had to run all the way there and climb. :¬|

@CAMAROBOY69 I love that race, it's a shame I usually do it with just one player.

I did. Never use the Bullet. It's very crappy on that race. It's a bit too slow.

Today I did the first ''thing'' with someone from GTP! :D @Snorevette and I did a melee deathmatch against 2 other dudes with bats, knives and other such painful stuff. It did annoy me that I would switch from a knife to a nightstick if I walked too close to a pickup of it.

Tactics to win it:
First, second and third jump: Full-throttle. Fourth jump: Jump and keep the car to the right, so you avoid the obstacles in the left. Fifth jump: Or brake just before the jump so you can fall before the bridge or try to avoid the jumps by going to the dirt in the left. Right after the entrance to the bridge, there is some sand/dirt which dosn't have a jump, so you can go over there and go back to the asphalt pretty quickly without losing too much speed. :D

I think I did this race way too many times already.

Well I can't store it anymore, but at least I can still find it to mod... :(

Still very angry that Rockstar did not alert us about this truck disappearing, thus alot of people lost this truck before they could sell it. R.I.P. Rat-Loader I'll miss you. Crossing my fingers that I can track+insure you again after 1.09. :O
