I hate to be a beggar, but does anyone here have a Franklin Buffalo that they'd let me dupe (Preferably not in slot 1 of your garage when you call the mechanic, as I have a Sultan there that I'd like to keep). I posted this in the GTPlanet Crew thread as well, but here's how to dupe if you are uncertain of the process/have concerns that your car will disappear

How To Dupe (Newest Method Since Patch 1.08) This will help you in case you want to Dupe one, and it will help others who Dupe for you to know what to do/how it works.

  • Both people sit inside car inside of the Owner's garage.
  • The Car Owner goes to Phone, and then to Dynasty Real Estate and picks an apartment to "Buy" in the SAME BUILDING he already lives. He then clicks "Confirm" on purchasing the new apartment and immediately hits the "O" (Or for XBox The "B" Button) a bunch really fast over and over until the screen blacks out and it shows a glitched car/black screen for a moment. This will now spawn The Owner outside the apartment on foot and leave the passenger still in the car allowing the passenger now to drive it out of the garage.
The vehicle he just pulled out is now his..and the Dupe is done.. BUT it will not let him just pull it into his garage yet.

  • The new car recipient will need to get out of the duped car and walk into his garage and pull a car out(doesn't matter what car, any car), and then pull right back into his garage while the newly duped car sits outside. This will spawn the newly duped car into his garage and you're both done!
WARNING: Please Remember YOUR Vehicle Placement in Your Garage!

Wherever the car was in the owner's garage, IT WILL NOW BE IN THAT SPOT IN THE RECIPIENT'S GARAGE! It does not ask you to replace it, or give you any warning. Be Prepared to lose whatever car is in the spot of the duped car in his garage!
 
I have a Charger you can dupe. But i haven't been on in a while.

Where is "slot 1"? I think my "slot 1" is an Asea.
 
Got it from a person on the GTA Forums, Slot 1 is the top car you get when you call your mechanic. You can see what I did to her in the GTPlanet Crew thread :sly:, I think this is the perfect crew car

If you have a 10 car garage and you're at your garage door faced towards the TV (in-game TV) then slot #1 is the located in the upper left corner.
 
I've got to try all that out... I've always wanted to be able to open the trunk without shooting the window in. :D
 
The 20th Anniversary of the Movie "Speed" is coming sometime this year. I would like to see someone make a Speed X GTA V Tribute Video for it. That would be awesome. Remember that the movie took place in LA. :)

Off topic: Those guys in the first video have the most annoying voices ever. Makes me want to punch a wall.
 
Dang, went to change the hair on my character and now I have the infamous cornrow tattoo on my character. Not happy... :grumpy:

Off topic: but you can't blame them for their annoying voice. It's not like they can choose to have said voice.

That happened to me the other day. I put on a hat to hide it, and the next time I logged in it was gone.
 
Tried your fix Mudd, and sadly I still have the corn rows. Ah well thanks for trying to help anyway. :)
I guess I'll just have to wait until Rockstar patches it.
 
I've got the 'rows as well. It's annoying me, and it's not the first time. I hope Rockstar'll patch that instead of something that isn't as annoying. :(

We can only hope at this rate, as people are now properly hacking GTA Online with jailbroken PS3s and ISO modded 360s. I pray that GTA Online doesn't turn into GTA IV with the hundreds of thousands of hackers running around that game, ruining the experience for everyone.

I always see those on the docks, and the road leading into the docks. Keep circling around ... they'll show up. Oh, and do it in a solo/invite room for faster car turnover
