Looking at the posts in that topic, it must be a map...? I can't see it since I don't have an account, can't be bothered to make one either.

It's an accurate comparison of the map of San Andreas for GTA V. According to the accurate scale, the landmass is at least 3X Bigger that Liberty City. The landmass can actually fit 3 Liberty Cities.

It's true. The street to block ratio is very accurate. Although people are still complaining about Los Santos being a bit small. This game is something. Something I've always dreamed of.

Well, the 3 main characters are based on their voice actors, so it's not really surprising at their resemblance....

It seems pretty fair to me that they'd make the character's look like their voice actors.
They do need a face for each of some sorts, and I'm sure it was part of the deal, for each to be preserved in history forever, by being digitally represented in GTAV.
Makes me wonder whether Michael's actor also did the voice for Tommy Vercetti though.....

Tommy Vercetti's voice actor has been amongst the most famous in GTA history, Vexd.

Basing the characters' appearances on the voice actors though, is something I believe they started really doing with the GTA IV DLC as Johnny & Luis' actors don't look terribly different. I can't recall too many before that unless they were voiced by a really famous actor like Jackson, Penn, Reynolds, or Collins as return.

However, because Rockstar said they weren't really shooting for a lot of celebrity work explains why most of the major & minor characters revealed seem to reflect their voice actors such as Ogg above, Shawn Fonteno (Franklin), & Danny Tamberelli (Jimmy). The 2 rumored actors behind Amanda & Lamar seem to look very similar as well.

LA Noire had some famous voice actors and the character models were spot on.

Wasn't Burt Reynolds in GTA VC?

Kent Paul is the best voice in GTA history, he should have been much tougher though because he was voiced by Danny Dyer. Shaun Ryder as Maccer to.

ALL the big games leak that early. COD, GOW, HALO, GTA. I guarantee people will be playing and leaking info for GTA5 by August 16th (1 month before the game launches).

This happens for a couple reasons.
1. Once the game goes gold it is stamped and shipped out. The public is not supposed to break the street date but we all know how that goes.
2. Game reviewers always get the game much earlier than the public. Some leak info.
This is really nothing new to anyone that has been gaming for many years.

So I will say again, around August 16th, info will be leaked about GTA5. Hopefully the mp info releases within the next week.

Anyone else not surprised this prediction was completely wrong?
