^ Fair enough. 👍

But like Simon, I also found them to be very tedious. I was very pleased that they didn't appear in IV.

Yeah it was a bit tedious but there is a cheat for maximum everything,I always
laughed at how ridiculously thick C.J 's calfs were.:D
Me and my bro had so much fun jumping off mount chiliad, hitting the nitro to get as much speed as possible.:)
That's something I miss, playing 2-player but online multiplayer is great though.

The food / gym thing really killed that game for me. There were so many other ways to implement a system of look / fighting ability etc...

I'd like to see a system in GTA where you have a decent number of skills or boosts covering all aspects of play and are awarded 'skill points' during missions. If you had maybe 10 boosts and a maximum of 3 points allocated at any one time you could change your abilities just enough to your liking without becoming 'lopsided'.

Maybe have a driving school which gives you abilities in either traction, acceleration, or top speed. A gym that increases strength (hitting power) or running speed. A gun range that increases zoom or movement speed while aiming a gun.

I wouldn't have them as button mashers; simple item choice menus would suffice. You could even have missions based around each boost to unlock them.

But what would I know... I only play the games, not design them.

HAPPY HOLIDAYS!

I havent been on the forums for a couple weeks. Those screenshots look beautiful!

Any news on co-op campaign or a much better co-op mode than what was in GTA4. I have heard rumors there will be 16 player co-op modes like in RDR.

It'd be nice if we got 'tools' to use in V, and outside of missions too. Stuff like a grapple hook w/rope.

I hope the hand to hand fighting gets an overhaul too, possibly have a fighting style training thing like in SA. The combat in IV was like the robots in that boxing ring punchy toy thing.

I enjoyed the fight training sessions. Those were tough when I was a noob.

New screen shot out, it's Trevor burning what look to be an older generation Bobcat truck. Guess that confirms multiple-generation vehicles.

A new artwork has been released with the 3 characters standing next to the rear of a car with an open trunk (car is black), looks like a luxury model.

Also, a new radio station has been announced, called Nightride FM. It will feature a song called Nightcall, and it willl be hosted by DJ Kavinsky, who is famous for his '80s styled electronic music.

And one last thing, according to Game Revoilution, the box art is finally set to be revealed at the end of this month.

So I can replace T10/Playground's Ryan Gosling simulator with something more suitable?

This just keeps getting better and better :D

I'm sorry, but I can't take that article seriously because of this comment:

TDU2 launched with some problems as any other MMO but its still one of the best sim racers out there, this game doesn't even come close to it.

Seriously?

Anyway, Nightride FM sounds pretty good. Hopefully the driving physics are similar to IV's, as they are the best (in my opinion) out of any open-world game, and better than a few racing games. *cough*TDU2*cough*

TDU2 physics were terrible. I only played for a little bit and then put it to the "Oh yeah, I got that game, too" pile. I hope it's just tweaked GTA IV graphics. I'd be disappointed if it was the TDU physics.

Pretty sure it's a Toyota Hilux, and looking at the back it seems to say 'Karin' which is GTA's parody of Toyota. :)

Yeah it appears to be the 80's gen Toyota, similar to the one in Back to the Future.

Apparently West Coast producer "Alchemist" will be contributing to GTA V. Interesting. He previously appeared in China Town wars.

Also B-Dup (San Andreas), has confirmed to have worked with Rockstar on GTA V.

Rockstar has also starting putting up GTA V billboards across the world.

Sample of GTA V's Nightride FM sountrack:

Also confirmed was that it will only appear on PS3 and 360. Which we pretty much already knew.

I think it's just for now. If it's anything like before you'll unfortunately have to wait 6 months longer which TBH is utter BS.

yep

i would rather it later than never, i mean i have a ps3, but it's nice to mod a pc game out :P

GTA IV with mods just completely changed it from being so dull.

Well that sucks. I mean my laptop struggles with Tetris but after I replace the PS3 I want a decent gaming computer. GTAV would be a must have game just for the replay-ability that's mods bring.

Is replay-ability a work?
