I'm going to be honest. I use cheats too. I even have Game Genie, but I'm not a cheater on Gran Turismo. Although I am one in GTA, except for MP.

Trolling can be funny, but most of the time it is never fun for people that might be casual or a little more serious about the game. I like the kind of trolling where it's fun for both parties: the person trolling and the person being trolled.

GTA IV online was fun before the wave of hackers rolled in. The only time I go online is for organized, recorded events (hosted by TheIvaneh. No, he isn't a GTP member) that go up on YouTube. They're fun because everyone cooperates most of the time.

This. Without a doubt. Agreed 100%. The nice ones who spawn cars and give you weapons are alright, but the idiots who go 500mph in an invincible Comet blowing up people, freezing their games, etc. can go to hell.

I first read "invincible" as "invisible". (Which is actually possible. You don't need to be a hacker to make your car invisible)

But I was never lucky enough to meet a friendly hacker.

I have a few on my XBOX friends list. Good fun can be had, such as demo-derbies way up in the sky, cat-n-mouse (APCs vs Airtugs), and of course getting vehicles that aren't online normally.

This is why online gaming is overrated. The cool players, people who want to have fun or teams yes. Since I don't have a problem with them.

But idiotic hackers or ragers and stupid kids who act out-of-hand are too much for me. But GTAV will be mostly offline for me, but I'll look into GTAO though.

That's one forum the where the main userbase does a fine job of retaliating without much moderation.

Trolls aren't usually the issue though. It's the ridiculous threads where people take everything so literally. The Shamal screen in the video mentions fuel as just a sarcastic description at "$50,000 a day, coast to coast" & you have people suddenly making threads, "We can fuelz plan3s?!"

That's why you play in Passive mode, then. Rockstar have already said they'll be implementing a system that identifies bad players & cheaters. GTA IV seemed to have just been a little taste of what the game could be like.

There's alot less deaths when it comes to shooting. Even when someone blows up your car you'll live.

I did that for a while, but I switched to FF off because I wanted a "survival" feel like in DayZ, but that didn't turn out well.

But for players that have infinitely better aim than I do (SPINNING IN CIRCLES WHILE FIRING! YAY!), they can't just cap the moron that's following them around.
