GTA V - General Thread

For some reason the only strangers missions that count towards 100% (and the 20 number) are Franklin's. But yeah, you get a couple upon doing those two things, also another one unlocks when you've done all the parachute jumps as well as the first two 'Dom' missions.
 
When I switch to Franklin, I have 2 missions available, but the only one I see is an assassination mission from Lester. I have completed the main story line.

I haven't done this assassination mission (did a few of them before, like an idiot not knowing the stock market potential) yet. I guess I can since it won't make a difference, really. Although I WILL invest this time.

Call tonya with Franklin I think that's the job your looking for.
 
Yep, more mundane towing to do. I wonder if anyone has voluntarily done those missions after buying the towing lot. I know I certainly didn't.
 
I don't mind the towing missions really. I haven't bought the lot yet, though. I want to try to tow a cop car while in a pursuit. It looks funny as hell!

I've done a couple.

Edit: When Baswaq was down and I had all my money in there I made nearly 30K doing taxi missions with Michael. That was actually a fun couple of chilled out hours.

I bought the 20 million dollar movie studio and make almost 300k a week. Once you get enough money defiantly but it. There is a 30million and 10 million but the 20 million one makes the most.

I've bought the 10 and 20 million cinemas. Now Michael only has 900k. Think I'd best hold off on the spending and invest to try and get some money back with him.
 
I've only bought the $10 million cinema, since I only had $10 million. Which I'm at, at the moment. Once I get my stocks out, I'll get the $20 million one.


How much money does the $20M give a week?
 
Correct.

So the final freaks and strangers mission unlocked finally, pretty disappointing really and it seems that was the only reward for 100%. Bit weak.

I wouldn't expect it before 2014 to be honest. A bit sad we (the Android- and Windows Phone users) are "left behind" so to say... :indiff:

I wouldn't agree with this statement. They should just try to release it on December if it's taking time.

Rockstar is just too damn slow to make the app for Android.
 
Discovered a glitch the other day...

I had switched to Trevor and it switched to the scene where he had a man tied up and gagged under the pier. I decided to use the jerry can to leave a trail of gas to him, then lit it. Once the fire got to him, the guy magically popped out of the ropes, moving around on fire. Once he was dead, he then went back into the ropes with his head hanging down, still on fire. Weird...

I had something quite funny happening yesterday as I was collecting the spaceship parts, I was with Franklin in a helicopter ATM. I had to park the helicopter in a spot where the underskilled Franklin could never have parked it, eventually destroyed the helicopter's engine but could bring it down. Switched to trevor and went to the same spot in another helicopter. There I saw Franklin was still sitting there in his helicopter, not broken anymore. First I took the spaceship part but then lost T's heli so I had to revert to Franklin again. As Trevor was just standing there and Franklin was in the heli I decided to try and kill Trevor with my helicopter, after a couple of pushes I got a message (top-right on screen) that Trevor was injured. Next thing I know I'm losing 5k $ with Franklin and getting a text from Trevor I could pay his medical bill?! :lol:

He was just south of a shack with two boats sticking out of it, where you find some armour and a shotgun.

I bought it a few days ago, getting $265,000+/- a week off of it. I used Michael to buy it, had just enough, and already back over 1 million. Been playing as Trevor a good bit lately, so not sure if the GC will call Michael with jobs to do.

Lol was gonna ask if you can find weapons. The old games weapons were everywhere but this game the only one I actually found was a baseball bat.

Was so funny I bought a new car and customized it with Franklin. Drove it to my garage to park but stopped by a gang first. If you use the hand weapon in a car it gives people the finger and starts to swear at them. The guys got pissed, but just stared. I stopped and they eventually relaxed. The guy who walked over to my car to scream at me also stopped and took out his phone to make a call. The second I see it go next to his ear I rev my engine and slam on the horn so he couldn't hear lol. The guy literally just drops his phone and pulls a gun. He fires one shot and instantly the rest of the gang starts firing lol. Luckily I was in a fast car because I showed up with half health and it was down to just one bar left by the the time I made it far enough away.

Only a quarter of a mill?

So that would take 600 weeks to make a profit from it. Granted there is a lot in this GTA but not 600 weeks of in game time.

The 20 million dollar cinema makes a quarter of a million too.
 
There has been a glitch which allows one to make profit from the first week, but I'm not sure if it's been patched in either version .01 or .02.

Once you buy all the properties, you don't need a ton of money. The income from them are more than enough to play hard, and die often. lol
 
Like I said in another thread there really isn't any point buying the Golf Club unless you have a real hankering for it. You don't need it for completion or any achievements so unless you exploit the assassination missions to their full potential and are rolling in cash there really is no need.

I don't think I'll bother with it.

Trevor and Franklin have 30 Million+ each and Michael takes in 500,000 a week anyway.
