I drove a Landstalker up to the top of Mt Josiah from the foot of the army base from the west side of the map.
 
Took the Sandking and drove along the entire eastern ridge where the map meets the ocean. I don't know why I haven't explored over there yet but there's lots of good stuff, and some oddball government compound you can freely roam, although I didn't see anything of value in there. But there were a lot of off road trails not indicated on the map.

Did you do that with Franklin, Michael or Trevor?
 
Michael. If it has something to do with the story I haven't gotten to yet don't tell me :).
 
I'm not even bothering to tell you something. Was just asking who of the 3 did you play that with.
 
Rolling around the streets on the Shi*zu Vader, on the hunt for a Bati 801 (racing decals version) and stopped at a set of lights next to another guy on a Vader. Revved the motor a few times whilst the lights were red just to see what would happen, as the lights went green he took off at full speed, so I decided to race with him. After about half a mile, he took a 90 degree right,cutting the corner a little too much, and tookhimself out by his neck on the lamp post. Having taken a better line, I made the corner, only to run over his corpse as it slid across my path!
 
As Trevor, I jacked a Shamal from LSX for a quick trip to the country. As I approached the airstrip near Shady Shores, I didn't care how I landed, so I landed and crossed both runways. Though, the plane didn't stop, and went all the way to the nearby railroad track. And just my luck, a train was coming. I hurried out of the plane and rushed a few yards away. As the train hit it, there was a fiery explosion.

I love moments like that.
 
I was driving and then I slowly accidentally drove into the wrong side. But then an Inferno (Murcielago/Zonda) was driving right at me and I somehow used it as a ramp. Today was a good day.
 
What were you driving and how did you get over the front bumper of an Infernus? Must be a hell of a lot of ground clearance to clear that bumper.
 
So I was going a long the highway not far from the business Trevor can buy with the submersible and I noticed a bunch of red dots off the road, went off road to check it out and got a pleasant surprise..

Anyone a fan of the movie "No country for old men" would enjoy the scene I witnessed,
there was remains of a desert shootout with the trucks and bodies, a few barely alive for me to try and get info out of. I short walk away is the guy wounded with the money, he tells me not to take it as it will get me killed. I ignored his advice and took it, a cool 25 grand.

Later I was wandering around in the country and got ambushed and before I managed to fully respond, I was killed.


Best random encounter I've had yet :D


Makes me want to put a silencer on my shotgun ;)
 
Not a good moment but was a random moment (Maybe someone should make a random moments thread?) While playing as Trevor I was riding a Sanchez on a beach on the north side of the map and came across two peds, one on a ATV the other on Sanchez who seemed to have just finished have a race, rolled up between them and did a burnout in an attempt to get the to speed off and race again and instantly gained a 2 star wanted level. :boggled:

I have no idea what I did to deserve the wanted level. But the following police chase was mighty fun. :trouble:
 
Watching the sunrise next to a destroyed GT-R on the eastern coast of LS.

I walked around the area I was in, a house near a lighthouse. I saw a couple people and tried to be very nice after seeing the beautiful sunrise. Instead, Michael sad a few less-than-kind things to the homeowners, and they called the cops on me. :crazy: It's unfortunate the characters say mean things instead of having a nice conversation with the NPCs.

Yes, I did escape before the cops got to the house.

I was driving Michael's Audi. It probably wasn't an Infernus then. But I remember it was low 'n sleek. Got some good air too.
 
So all my "good times" seem to happen when I run to the restroom for a moment.. Soooo.. I've decided to do the trophy where you get eaten by a shark, but I did not know how far out into the water you needed to go. So I just decided to go to the very edge.. After driving a boat for about 5 minute (which you can trim, very nice touch) I realized this was going to take forever so I ran to the restroom for a pee while holding down the gas pedal on the controller in one hand.. Soooo, apparently if you get to the edge of the map, your boat sinks, I got back to my screen just to see myself about 50 feet underwater still sitting in the boat with about 20% life left and completely out of air... Dead... :facepalm: ... But I did do it again an I did get the trophy 👍 .. Just waited until the boat stopped and started sinking at the edge of the map again, jumped out, swam back for about 1 minute and, boom, eaten by shark!!

You just failed the emergency landing at Flight School. :lol:
 
Finally managed to steal a fighter jet from Fort Zancudo whilst playing as Trevor. I quickly flew it to his hangar near Sandy Shores and quick saved.
 
I actually had a good moment, very similar to the above image, before I had to do the most annoying and boring mission in the game -
"run 5 miles in the desert".

I stole a plane from LS Airport, and once I got rid of the police, I flew as high as I possibly could, and parachuted for like a minute or so. Very fun. :D
 
I'm about to rage quit.
HOW THE HELL DO YOU COMPLETE THE MISSION WHERE YOU KILL THE ACTOR TO STEAL HIS CAR?!

Erm, knock the actor out from behind, walk up to the car, steal it and get away from the pursuers. You even get some goodies with the car, like spikes you can drop in front of the the cars chasing you.
