Sorry guys, I won't be able to race tonight. There's only 1 TV in my Dad's house, and I can't find its remote and therefore I can't switch to one of the AV channels in order to play on my PS3.

Should be buttons on the tv?

Just wondering if the GRC race isn't going ahead tonight if I can join in in a Vantage :)

Just leaving Knockhill so hopefully should get back in time to get a car set up and prepped!

20 minutes to Qualifying.

Dam and blast my DC! Was really enjoying that, love the Aston and had some good battles, strategies were looking interesting.

Sloppy.

That was exhausting.

Well that was terrible, had it set up for soft slicks for getting they were hards so was like driving on ice! Only time I could keep up was in the fast corners but in the slow corners I couldn't get traction or stop quick enough.

Couldn't stop so nudged fox I think causing the caution sorry about that.

Took me hour and a half to get into a rhythm and in the last 30 mins the car was amazing considering how it was set up.

What was the result?!? :)

Top 5

Ok nice one guys 👍

Crazy race. I suck at qualifying so started P6, was able to grab a few spots when people made mistakes. First stop took too much fuel, so gambled and took 5 liters less than what the game recommended on the second stop. Just barely made it to the end. Made a mistake near the end in T2 and Jet got by but was able to get the spot back a couple laps later. Being 10 horsepower down made it hard to pass the Aston Martins.

Great race though. 👍

Disconnected around a minute after nel after making my 2nd stop a few mins earlier, it would of been tight on fuel as I pitted with 45 to go and left the pits with 60L.

Had a nice battle with furi early on then he crashed and rarely saw a car for nearly an hour

Hate the setup I had, I didn't work for me.

Hate the track. I will never race there again.

Wrecked around 7 times, thumb hurting like hell. JetStar vs me for AM Honours, in all honesty I need a miracle at Spa.

For someone who has been doing this for over two years that was pretty damn noobish of me.:ouch:

Ah well, hate the track usually but tonight was fun.👍

Was a really interesting race tonight, lots of different strategies. Glad to get a good result. Another 1-2 for the Vettes 👍, but this was a bit luckier than the last one.

And thanks Akmuq for not punting me into the barriers despite Furi's persuasion

That was certainly my worst performance in a race in the last couple of months. After a promising start with going side by side with Jet through the first 3 corners, I got passed quite forcefully by Neljack and 1600, sort of like TOCA-style. Was a good fight afterwards though until I first had an off in Turn 6, dropping to 6th. That was still ok, since I didn't lose too much time. But then, about 23 minutes into the race, I went off in the Rainey curve, damaging the car quite badly, went into the pits, the car didn't brake, so I went into the wall in the pit entrance and lost more time.

I had planned both for a 2 or 3 stop strategy, so that wasn't too far off from the 3-stop one. With the new tyres I managed to make up some time then and was close to the leaders when they pitted after 40 minutes or so. Of course, I lost some time again when my tyres started to fade. What followed was not very eventful, except for people spinning or swerving right in front of me when I was about to lap them (Fox and ADM twice), which cost me precious seconds. It was beginning to show though that I would have no chance catching up enough to contend for the podium.

When the leaders had made their final pitstops, I was sort of with them, but still had to make my own last pitstop. When I finally did, I was pretty far behind already, then ran wide again in Rainey, so I had to pit one more time for repairs. I came out with 1600 just lapping me, so I let him go. Jet also was closely following, so I wanted to let him by, and somehow went into the gravel again at Turn 11. I then managed to get it together and followed 1600 and Jet. It was pretty easy at that point with my newer tyres to follow them and watch their fight for the lead. Smuffy then came closer and I let him pass so I wouldn't interfere with the fight for positions.

Very disappointing race for me, especially since I felt I could have been there without all those mistakes. Oh, well.

Yeah sorry that happened maybe should have stuck behind but saw a gap and went for it, in my defence, if I turned left I'd have just hit RS and gone into you, would hardly call it TOCA style :p

It's ok. Didn't get any damage. You had worse luck later on...

Didn't mean to, sorry. There was enough gap to fit the car in so I put it in there. :scared:

Don't think it was anyone's fault just opening lap chaos :p

Results please young Alex!!
