Great race today:)
Lot of fun, fights, and lot of incidents. That was something to be expected on track like that.

Great racing today, I was very happy to see a bigger turn out than last week! Hope it continues for the rest of the series.

It its for sure not easy to pull away with thise jr karts, but it also means a lot closer tables :)

Yeah you almost get away after lap 17 incident but we (saga, bdubclub and me) got you:)

Fun race today.

I was clearly too slow today though. I was loosing a lot of time (in qualifying) in sections that are flat out. I don't know if it's my gearing or my lines, but it's something I should fix.

Yeah you make my day hard work:)
I think you had too long gear.

Anyone got some lap times for todays race at Kart Space I ? :)

I'm consistently 36.4XX - 36.6XX, with a personal best of 36.031... I have a feeling this is gonna be a long, incident filled race. lol

It depends on how many who will show up today, but 10+ drivers will be tight

Race Specifics

  • All hard surfaces are track.
  • In the event that more than 12 people show up to qualify, all of them may qualify and the top 12 times will be allowed to race. Those who don't qualify will get 5 points.

Well I think I screwed up in my break in process. I let my kart run on London last night at the slow speed. Have 217 miles on it now, but it wont let me rebuild the engine or change the oil. Still reads 11 hp from when I was racing it myself. I dont know if I had the tire wear on or not. Does this make sense? If I have the state bar saying I have 217 miles on it, are they really there? Why else would it not let me rebuild the motor?

Try running it again around Route X. Tire wear on and real grip. See if that lil extra miles allows you to rebuild engine.

Lancer, you mentioned last night no green parts. Are you thinking just calling walls boundary to avoid watching replays from each person?

I tried last night to be super clean and even though I was set out to be clean. I caught some green on a lap or two.

Also tried to short cut the track where possible to see time gain. There is 1/2 sec to 1 sec to be gained.

Mine was funny like that too... After 203 miles it wouldn't let me do a oil change, but it let me do a engine rebuild... It's now at 12hp/11ft-lb/398pp

I am pretty sure it will still add miles if you don't have tire wear on, so they won't count towards break in, but with only 217 miles, you may need a few more.....And there is no way you can change the oil in these karts, pre mix baby:sly:

I'm going to do exactly that. Everything is track. Makes life easier.

Agree. While it would be nice to hold rumble strips. It's a tight track and well no one wants to watch replays for rest of the weekend. ;)

As well some curbs are insta death. LoL

Great choice boss!

Not sure what is going on. I am up to 260 miles (did another 40 or so on Indy with tire wear on), and it wont let me rebuild (makes sense about the oil...good call Bdub ;) ). Gonna let it run London a bit more while I play with the kids, then try to get some more race practice in around noon.
