Sorry i just left True. Banging headache and the fact I'm not racing now lost the enthusiasm to be honest.

no worries mate, bet it's a bummer :(

Great racing tonight and hope you got all the info you need true

Big thanks to @sb360 for shouting out the bhp penalties. Hope you are there every week it's very confusing.

Also well done @CptMadBean for hosting. It was tough but somebody had to do it
yep, top job pam you made all that go brill
and well done mad, wish PD would have an off night lol

A lot of data, but made everything more confusing

A great night of racing all around tonight, very enjoyable.

My feedback:

I like the format, different length races are interesting and there were some good battles all evening. Not sure if I am a fan of the SM tyres, they didn't seem to make a big difference to overall pace, around 1.5 seconds, but they did make the cars more of a handful. I felt they didn't really add to the racing or the strategy though, the race was very very close through the whole race and I can't imagine it would have been spaced out any more if we had all used SS twice.

The Golfs struggling I think may have just been the track, on more balanced tracks I think they will be much closer and I think there will be one track that gives most cars a hard time and I think in other testing the balancing has proven to be pretty much spot on.

My Laguna tunes are not very good at Silverstone  I must apologise to TRL-Agro and TRL-EVO for sliding into you in race 1 a couple of times :( my bad, we had some very close battles throughout though. Me and Evo were together for almost all of race 2 as well. 👍

I won't comment on the penalties as I may be biased other than to say that if people are happy with how it worked today I have no problem doing the maths and shouting out the pens as I did today.

Thanks mate, I certainly intend to be around everyweek ;) If I do have to take a week off for whatever reason its relatively simple with the spreadsheet.

Youy can't have a day off, you're now integral to the championship and it will all fail without you. ;)

Ideally I think that we now need to run a test at a 'handling' circuit to see how we all cope and what the outcome is.

Silverstone National is basically three straights seperated by a corner, a powerful car will do well there as handling isn't as important. The biggest suprise of the night was how well the BMW's performed around that track. I didn't expect them to be so strong and to the latter part of race 1 my tyres were shot, those BM's were all over me.

On a 'handling' track my tyres would have been even worse, so I'd stand no chance.

It was an interesting night. 👍

Agreed, Tsukuba and Motegi would be good fits for that.

Not a problem at all, if I am every away you will just have to delay the series for me ;)
