Worst that has ever happened was finding out the brake bias on a tall, softly sprung van was set way too far rearward... after we'd hit the brakes at 100 km/h.

I can't relate, at all, to the "omg I would never ever drive this in public" sentiment. Especially if, apart from that, you like this Morgan.

Why let anyone else's petty opinions guide your choices or experiences? Given the chance, I'd drive the Pikachu New Beetle around for a day. I'm anti-social so I would avoid parking it where it would invite conversation -- same for the Morgan -- but IDGAF what anyone thinks about seeing me on the road in any car. I'm driving, not seeking approval.

If I had this thing, despite how I rated it, I can be an attention seeker so I'd be like "🤬 yeah look at this thing, bet you didn't think it was street legal now did ya!"

Because a Morgan Three Wheeler is more attention seeking than a Mustang with open headers....

Actually I'd say the Morgan would turn more heads than any loud ass Mustang would.

@daan once said the following about a Citroen:
This car is the ideal test of who gets the idea of the cool wall and who doesn't.

That's how I feel about the Morgan. You either get it, or you don't. Much like coolness itself.

I've driven motorcycle-engined Chinese three-wheelers that were little more than tuktuks in drag. I've driven microtrucks that took over half-a-mile to hit 60 mph and didn't have the brakes to stop from that speed. I've driven ten wheelers. I've driven gigantic vans, ancient off-roaders with no power steering or amenities, supercars and even... gasp... Camries.

Anything is worth trying once. If only to confirm (as @homeforsummer says) that they truly are that bad.

Damn, I wanna be like this guy when I'm older 👍

Even mine?
Don't you have a Camry or something? If so, I don't see why not - as I mentioned earlier, if I've not driven something before, then I'm interested in driving it.

Ever since I've been able to drive I've done my best to drive as many different cars as possible. I'm lucky that for the last few years my job has allowed me to drive 100+ cars each year (I'm up to 22 so far this year so should be on track for 100+ this year too). I don't really mind what those cars are - some are better than others, obviously - but something I've not driven before is something I want to drive.

"Try everything once, except folk dancing and incest" (Sir Thomas Beecham)

Hey, even incest has its fans. Not. :yuck:

I was reading one of those "Worst cars of all time" lists, and I was shaking my head in disbelief (no, not that idiotic one that started with the Model T...), because from the comments of the author, he's never driven anything near as bad as half the cars I've had to work with.

Yeah, those always amuse me too. So many of those lists seem to correlate "worst" with "poor-selling" too, which is no metric at all, since it's not unknown for absolutely dreadful cars to sell in huge numbers.

And then they get Wikipedia'd. Because, as everyone knows. If somebody writes it on a website publication, no matter how inept that somebody is at writing (take... me... for example), then that's got to be the gospel truth or at least worth recording in an "Encyclopedia."

Many here who hold the car in a negative light seem to talk as if the general public, who know very little about cars (or care), will see you driving this and know exactly what it is. I have friends who are into cars and some of them don't even fully understand what a rotary engine is aside from the fact that "it does not have pistons".

I don't know about others but when I see a car that I have never seen before, I thoroughly enjoy it rather than immediately criticizing it for whatever features it may have / what kind of person would drive it.

Seeing as I've had more fun driving my friends 83 Toyota pickup then I do my 97 Supercharged Grand Prix in the past (if someone just told me I would, I'd think they were insane), I feel I would need to drive this car before giving it an honest rating...

But, this being the cool wall and all, I will not be able to drive a vast majority of what shows up. So from my knowledge of this vehicle, and the various media I have seen of it;

I think it's a high Cool. But if price is supposed to be a factor in this rating, it would be a uh... Low cool... oof! That is a bit steep.
