I went Uncool, if it had a more sensible engine I might have given it a cool.. but seriously 36hp? I pretty sure there are roads near me that this simply wouldn't get up!

Is an early Fiat 500 uncool because it only has 17bhp or so?

No, I find the Fiat 500 uncool for many other reasons also!

Seriously though, 36hp renders this car pretty much useless as far as I'm concerned... if a mate bought this car, I'd look at it, I think.. yeah that's pretty cool, then we'd chuck the climbing gear in it and drive somewhere in it (I'm not even talking about a mountain, I'm talking about Birmingham) - then after the slow, noisy, long and uncomfortable journey, without a word - or even a knowing glance - we would never use the car to go anywhere, ever again.. so, for me, that makes it uncool.

A car can't be judged on conditions for which it has never and will never be used.

My Beetle produced about 44bhp brand new. Almost certainly a lot less than that now - probably not much different from that Honda. Doesn't automatically render it "useless" and none of that has anything to do with whether it's cool or not. Ditto this van.

I personally voted uncool but that doesn't mean it's rubbish/useless/pointless or whatever else. For a Japanese guy in the 1970s it may well have been the exact opposite of all those things.
