Hey guys, I'm making another vid, won't be finished til the weekend (I hope), but I've posted the first 20 seconds, slightly unfinished, on YouTube. Should be in HD quality soon enough on there. Hope you like, and read the description.. I'm in a rush here to get to work, lol!

Thanks! Shame I never did get a chance to play Prologue. Ah well. With school and work, I don't get much free time anyway.

EDIT: Actually, I do recall playing a demo'ed version of GT:HD at a Best Buy. Yep, a demo of a free demo. :dunce:

Any new videos? or are we too distracted by this new damage?

I wish my computer could handle this kind of stuff, maybe I could make my own.. but I cant...

Well, school just started, so I don't have much time for making videos. I might me able to squeeze some in on the weekends, but I don't know.
 
I still have not had the time to finish mine and its summer. Ironically I may have time during school. I really could use some fresh footage. I feel like everything out now has been played to death.

Hey guys, my second video I promised a couple of weeks ago is finally, kinda nearly finished, but I gave in, added some of the new footage, and released the beast onto YouTube about 5 minutes ago. By the time you see this hopefully it's gone all nice quality. The original file was 720p, but I'll only put it up in that quality when I sort out some glitches, tighten the whole thing up and make a final final version.

Please let me know what you think!

P.S. Sorry to any German viewers but it's apparently blocked there due to the music, so YouTube informs me :(
 
I think it's blocked for everyone. It says Sony owns the rights to it, and will not allow you to use it unless you go to youtube.

I thought the music was fine, how it stitched with the clips, a cool, smooth, calm video, was awesome!

Have you tryed youtubedownloader? It now downloads videos from most sites.

What I did was download them from YouTube in flv format (using Firefox) and convert them using Prism Video Converter.
 
Meh, not really gonna make a new trailer until the videos are on PSN. Even the HD ones still seem abit fuzzy.

Wow! I've seen only a couple of fan trailers out there but this one is by far the best ever. The music choice was very good to and i love how you put everything together. Must of taken you forever. 👍
 
This one's a little different:

The latest GT5 trailer unedited except for the music. The music I made on my computer. So in a sense it's just a shameless plug. But either way it was fun, and it turned out almost good.

Hey Mani_23 and Zork123! Many thanks for the comments :)

Been working on it for about 2 weeks but after an encouraging start I suffered from a bit of editing fatigue lol, but with all the TGS stuff I decided to kick myself into gear and finish it and luckily found the Weather Trailer in high quality so I could splice some of that footage in. That stuff is very rushed and as I said, there's a couple of glitches so yeah, it's still unfinished but I'll leave it til closer to November to maybe make a final version.

The music's maybe an acquired taste but I wanted something different from either the clinical electronic stuff PD themselves have used recently, or the rockier stuff in most of the vids, it's maybe a more European taste lol. I might stick a Muse track on and see what happens though ;p

It's so good to get some positive comments back, I've only recently discovered GTPlanet and of course my excitement for GT5 is unbelievable, so I've been combining that passion with my other one, editing (when it doesn't annoy me with technical 'difficulties'!). I'm hoping to make more stuff, and hopefully branch out beyond just pure and simple music video/trailers territory. I just need more footage!
