Take note geezers event changed to all tarmac the practice rooms are ready


Sorry boys you are all mistaken it was me i won everything, at least i did while i was asleep. HAHAHAHA
Good days racing yesterday well done to all who took part.

Weekend coming will be the Ford RS 200 Rally 85, all events will be stock no tuning.

Race 1 Brands Hatch 10 laps.

Race 2 Grand Valley Speedway on tarmac 10 laps fuel on very fast, free tyre choice.

Race 3 Mount panorama 10 laps.

I will put up three practice rooms tomorrow morning.

Any body got any thoughts on a rally event in the next few weeks, post here if you like or not as the case may be.

Remember you can change oil and alter the brake balance if you so desire.

Papa has an event time trial running on special stage 7 try it and tell me if you notice a difference between your

Happy fathers day to all you geezers, the rally events go live today at 13.30 Uk time.
08.30 Eastern time.
The rules are as follows, there are five cars to pick from, when you pick your car that will be the car you use for all events.
you can not change cars during the event so choose wisely.

All events must be completed before the deadline.

All cars can have an oil change and brake balance change if required other than that they can not be tuned. there is also a pp limit, a horse power limit and a weight limit.
The cars are as follows

1 Suzuki SX4 WRC 08

2 SUBARU IMPREZZA WRC 08

3 CITROEN C4 WRC 08

4 FORD FOCUS RS WRC 07/08

5 MITSUBISHI LANCER SUPER RALLY CAR 03

These are the only cars that can be used

Power setting for events are as follows,

PP 499----BHP 335---- WEIGHT 1230 KG.

PapGnr has events open where you can do as many hot laps as you want.

When you come to my room only 1 hotlap is allowed so practice in papas rooms then do your hotlap in mine when you are ready.

All hot laps must be completed by July 10th 13.30

The final event will be held on July 11th during our normal race meeting.

Rooms will be open today at 13.30.
Penalties are on weak so go carefully.

Just like a real rally, you crash you mess your stage time up.

There will be a points system which will mean everyone gets at least two points.
The main bulk of points will be depending on the number of entrants. {as long as i get most}

2 Deep forest raceway 15 laps in the Peugeot Vision Gran Turismo {THE BEAST IN THE FOREST} in stock form. oil change allowed brake balance allowed and free tyre choice also there will be a compound change required.

3 will be the reverse of one of the above races decided by third place driver in race 2.

Practice rooms are open for you as usual.:cheers::cheers::cheers:

Hi Jay, can't stretch the age requirement enough (24 yrs) to make you an official Geezer, but would like to see you Sat mornings for Stewy's mayhem. Check his post above yours (#2227) & #2233 for this weekends info. If you haven't already, join Stewy's Community Club "Geezers Racing", that's where the Sat races are held. Sorry geezers there will not be any racing next weekend 4th July[something about kicking us Brits out of your country]
and i will be watching Silverstone on Sunday so it will be the following weekend.
That is the weekend we will hold the final event in the rally event it will be 1 hot lap, race alone, decides the winner.
we will put this in as the last event so anybody not in it can watch.

Hi Stewy and other Geezers. Yes there is the filled weekend, but there is also FRIDAY the 3rd (when Brits were still welcome) when us working slobs get a day off. It also affords a chance at meeting with Geezers that don't work. What about a practice session in one of Papa's rooms for the rally time trials. Nothing has to be planned, just show up and run - I'll likely be there at 7:30 - 8 am EST.
