It may not be the appropriate time to celebrate, but I just wanted to let you know that I have managed to scrub off yet another 1,324 seconds off my time @ Nürburgring Nordschleife, finally beating my Austrian arch-rival by 0,701 seconds, using this slightly modified tune, Traction Control 4 only this time:

Bummer,,I'm stuck in the pits.My G29 will only turn "lock to lock" continuously when turned on. 👎👎 A replacement is on the way, but no idea on delivery yet.

Awww nutz,, o Duce was really looking forward to running GZR TT at LaSarth,, how would you fellas be with using either the old '88 or '89 Nissan - the blue and white one, or the red Toyota GT1? If there are no objections I could get logged in and review possibilities for the first run and post for Stewy's OK?? Then he can take over and run the requirements to the finish at week 4.Sorry Geezers i have not organised a tt for Le Sarthe due to the vagaries of my internet connection.
Will do something for the next one.
With luck it will all be sorted by then. HAHA!!

Hi Duce, So the first week will be the 67 Chaparral 2D no oil change run stock? Sounds good to me. Upgrades through the upcoming weeks can be made, with the final being fully tuned?Awww nutz,, o Duce was really looking forward to running GZR TT at LaSarth,, how would you fellas be with using either the old '88 or '89 Nissan - the blue and white one, or the red Toyota GT1? Edit: Fellas, forget the cars I mentioned earier. Here's an even better and more in line with the sort of hotrods we use in the GEEZER Club TT's,, how bout the '67 Chaparral 2D?? I bought one, drove it in STOCK, as purchased (3,750,000 credits), no tire change (came with RH tires), no chassis upgrade, no car wash, no oil change, no "nutt'n hunny" - simply as it came from the dealership. Logged in at the seasonal, selected "0" traction control, 1 ABS, Active Steering OFF, ASM OFF, driving line ON and it handled surprisingly well. 2 laps of test run and put down a decent 3:57 (green lap). With more laps I believe the car can run into the low 3:50's,, perhaps 3:40's. Then I looked in the Advanced Tune Finder, chose a GhostRider tune: https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/resources/chaparral-2d-67.1192/ set the car to meet the TT specs and drove an easy 3:32 which could be driven to a 3:20 I believe. If we're all OK wityh that car let's get down and dirty in the GEEZER Club - Stewy TT!
Hello Geezers: born 10/12/46. usually gold the tts after some trying. like to try joining up but I don't have the skills to post my race results on this site. Anyway, PSN: "livetiludye" GTP: "luvtadrive"

Yes buddy, The 2D with a full tune goes well beyond this 700pp TT requirement but at 700pp, with a GR8 tune and on RS tires, perhaps a little TC.

Ditto "LuvTaDrive",, I'll try to find you and send a Friend Request,, please add Daduce1947. After you have contacted our esteemed headmaster "geezer1791" and you're onboard the GEEZER Club roster you'll want to set up another PSN account with a "GZR" in front of your ID. You may have noticed we talk about the GEEZER TT events on this message string. Most - ALL?? - of we geezers have another PSN ID and we run the TT's under that account. Those TT standings are what you see a few messages up from this wherein GEEZER1791 has posted the GZR standings. Hello JotaMy time with 2J is done with oil change.
I had the car in the garage and then I did not remember it![]()
Nice time GT - remember there are two TTs going on now. The other is at Willow, please join us! A challenge to keep momentum up for the best time.I've made some runs at La Sarthe with the stock Chaparral 2D, and was able to run a decent lap of 3:48.763:
A very nice car to drive at La Sarthe with this level of tune/horsepower. It handles quite well and doesn't over-power itself. I'm sure that the car will be quite a handful at 700PPV!!

RE: Mot's GZR TT - Participation Rule: If a Geezer does a "Geezer Like Thing" and uses the incorrect car, the Geezer is allowed to use the correct car and post his time for that event on GTP. The time must be posted on GTP no later than 11:59 PM on the Monday before the close of that weeks competition. This imposes a penalty for acting like a Geezer and gives all other GZR_Geezers a chance to beat your posted time.Hello Jota
That makes two of us that messed up. I forgot what account I was logged into and ran some laps with the LM55, posting a time. I did some laps last night in the 2D and couldn't figure out why I couldn't keep up with you on the straights! Mots rule says we are out this week. You'll likely rejoin next week, but I'm sure to be out the entire event with my time. I'll still post my times here just to participate.

Thanks for the reprieve Geez. I'd like to direct all the prize money I have to forfeit to your retirement fund. Enough for some chicken wings at your favorite chicken wing spot (purchase your own drinks). My current time set with the 2d, 606pp, 420HP, all else default, is 3:48.546. AS off, TC 0, ASM off, ABS 1.
