I'm at work from 8h00AM to 5h00PM so the only times I can play are at night. Maybe I can add some of you to my PSN and I'll see when you are online... đź’ˇ

Sporty-- what times zone are you?? We usually schedule on GMT time to avoid confusion.

I am in the US EDT so GMT -5 hours...

I've been working on my trophies. Specifically I'm trying to get my Win in all game modes trophy, so I was planning on playing some of the games that are hard to find... like Mafiya work and Car Jack city-- these are hard to find and then to win also-- so I was going to try and get these this weekend.

After I get that one, the only ones I have left for multiplayer are the "fly the coop" (get the needed times for the 3 coop missions-- these are quite tough if you don't know what you are doing) and the achieve rank 10 trophy (I'm a rank 8 right now-- so expect this to take a while still)-- if you guys are decent at coop missions then we can maybe go for that one--- if you want to try those we will need headsets as they are quite tough-- it would help if you watch the videos of those missions that I posted links to a page or two back in this thread--- you will also need to have good connections if we try to do BDB II -- that mission is glitchy, if you have poor connections and/or incorrect router settings it will kick me out of the game too (when we reach the ship)-- I urge you to use a wired connection to your PS3 if you experience frequent game drops.

If we are going for the times, deal breaker is best done with only 2 players-- Noose needs 3 players but can be done with two. BDB II should be done with 4 players to achieve the time but can be done with less if we can get the van to stop relatively fast.

If you guys want to add me-- PSN: Spuds725

Put GTP or something in the add friend request message.

I'll definitely be on this evening after 11 PM GMT (6 pm EDT)--

I am addicted to playing mmorpg games but as my game card is not working since last week I would like to play GTP GTA Group Online Game, probably after 8h00PM....:sly:

Did you add me?? Your PSN ID is not in your sig-- someone added me the last few days.

I was on for about 4 hours last night... I've done all the requirements for AWP trophy (win in all game modes) but I still haven't got it-- wondering if the servers are messing up again... not recording stuff.... I've been randomly going back and doing stuff again.

I still need "Fly the Coop" and "AWP" and then of course the Rank 10 trophy.

I've gotten the time for "Noose" for the Fly the Coop 4 times now and it still hasn't shown up in my stats (in game or on the social club site)-- this is driving me batty.

I did do a few sessions of BDB 2 last night with one other player in a private match set on easy-- we actually got the van pretty quick both times and had a shot at the "Fly the coop" times-- I fudged the drop off on the ship 2 times though... 1st time I ended up in the water, 2nd time we both did.

If anyone wants to go for that time for BDB II let me know-- PM me here and on your PS3.

You should know how to "glitch" into the hold (see videos on the previous page of this thread)-- it is not hard.

If I fly also, get in the heli on the left side and I will drop you off on the upper level of the ship (jump out if you think you can make it when I hover near it) and then I will jump out myself-- this is to make sure we set the bridge bomb as if the person up there dies without setting it, then the time is out of the question.

When the the bridge people are dead, one person start jumping down decks to the main deck, work around the left side of the ship and glitch into the hold-- and set the bomb in there and then kill yourself to spawn outside.

When the 2nd bomb is set message appears, the other person should be jumping off the ship right away.

I haven't seriously tried for the Deal Breaker time yet--

Everyone other then me seems to have lost interest in this.... no problem since you can earn this across multiple sessions now.

I do want to add that the Auf wiedersehen petrovic trophy is alot harder then what we thought-- this is the win in all game modes trophy-- I thought it was just winning in all modes-- it also includes winning EVERY RACE in Race and GTA Race modes... there are 20 road races, 10 heli races, 10 free races, 10 cannon ball races, and 4 boat races-- 54 total meaning you have to win 108 different races-- you also have to win both sides of cops and crooks in both modes "all for one" and "one for all"--

Below is a list of all what needs done...

http://www.se7ensins.com/forums/grand-theft-auto-iv-discussion/93377-auf-wiedersehen-petrovic.html

a nice checklist you can print out and mark off... http://i30.tinypic.com/2ise1qq.png

I've done everything needed other then the races-- gonna take some serious effort to get there-- if anyone does this, I urge you to utilize the checklist... and realize, all wins must be since about the middle of Dec 2008 for PS3 players.

As always, anyone that wants to play and/or work on a specific mission/time-- I'm available...

Spuds

AWP checklist--

I think we should arrange a few sessions on the basis of the above list - work through the races/GTA races so that as many of us as possible can cross as many of them as possible off.

Once we've all got them nailed, we can sort a few team sessions and a couple of rigged solo games.

Especially the boat/heli/free/cannonball races-- I really had no idea (until I found that list) there were 34 non road races (68 if you count both Race and GTA race for that trophy)

Just to note, i haven't lost interest in this, not played GTA4 since whenever the last group I partook in, but am I so snowed under at the moment (wahey, not to do with the recent snow). I should be ok from mid-Feb onwards.

Nice game just now (Sureshot & Famine)-- told you the landing for "noose" was tricky-- I overshot it alot at first too-- I've had alot of practice flying the heli-- I got the landing pretty well nailed although I almost overshot it on the one we got the time in as well.

For BDB II-- We were pretty close although our times didn't reflect it ;)

We got the van pretty fast each time-- that first run was about the fastest I've ever seen (helps that the van drove toward our yellow spot-- sucks we got dropped--- when I started that second match, I did it as a custom/private match-- it is possible we had a 4th join (ghost) which messed us up (why we were dropped)-- I halfway expected us to get dropped again (if one of you guys didn't have your ports forwarded correctly)-- I was wired directly to my modem so I know it wasn't me....

Did you guys like landing me on top of the bridge like that? Any better suggestions... I figured it is easier to get down from there then up to there ;).

I wasn't able to glitch into the hold for some reason but it looks like sureshot got in pretty easily.

A pretty good effort for BDB II IMO...

Let me know if either of you want to go again... I can play tomorrow about the same time as well-- Friday probably not but Sat & Sun look good-- you can suggest earlier times for the weekend if you want.

If just 2 of us we can try Deal Breaker instead-- takes some practice... (or we can just do some races for the AWP trophy)-- Do you guys both have the "top of the midnight club"

I certainly do - I've just got Co-op, AWP, Taking it for the Team and Wanted to go.

I can stick that landing almost every time. Why I couldn't tonight escapes me. I must have been possessed by crap. The BDB2 landings were perfect too. I'll make a beeline for the cargo bay glitch spot next time and leave the bridge to you two.

I'll be up for a Deal Breaker attempt tomorrow evening - though ideally an hour earlier would suit me better, but I can do the same time if you prefer.

I seem to remember getting the Top the Midnight Club earlier in this thread with an Aussie.

Tomorrow night, I'll have to let you know nearer the time, if we make it for provisionally 9PM? I have one unit I must finish tomorrow, don't see it being a problem but I do have some research to do in the morning which I have no idea how long it will take.

As for me getting in the hold, doubt it, I had no idea where the 2nd bomb was, I jumped into the river at one point...

No, I helped you get it. Speaking of which, I wouldn't mind putting Midnight Club down for a bit to acquire trophies or help others acquire trophies. However, it's been a while since I've played.

Well someone set the bomb-- wasn't me -- I thought it was you just because of the timing-- seemed like you got killed each time right after the bomb was set, I thought you were killing yourself to escape. I tried to glitch in about 8 or 10 times and couldn't get in.

@ Sureshot-- Obviously take care of your work first... there will always be more opportunities... although these missions are repetive, I still like doing them--- plus they all pay out good-- my money is up around 1.5 milllion now (still a long way from level 10)

Jonesy-- yesterday we got the noose time for Sureshot and Famine (I've gotten it previously)-- for "Fly the Co-op).... I can get it with you 1 on 1 if you want-- or in a public match with a random 3rd if that doesn't work out-- if you haven't yet check the vids in post #237 in this thread-- gives good walkthrus of the missions-- I have flying the heli nailed down pretty well. If just 2 of us, I recommend you standing on the Jets wing and shooting from up there, utilized the zoom feature and get the head shots on the noose--

If you want to get in on the BDB II Jonesy we can try it again tonight (9 pm GMT)-- yesterday I drove the car but if one of you others would like to, I'm up for that. I'd like to decide ahead of time though.... I prefer I fly the heli and land on top of the bridge like I was doing yesterday.

@ Jonesy-- it is very important that you have your router configured correctly for port forwarding-- if not, this causes a glitch that will kick us all out of the game when we approach the ship-- if you don't know, it is best to run a wired connection between your modem and PS3 for this-- this will negate the need for port forwarding.

I'll be on at 9 pm GMT (4 pm for me)-- plan on about an hour session.... sound good?? I will have my Mic/headset. I'll be the host unless someone else feels strongly about it.... if someone else hosts, set it as a custom match with 4 private slots... for the game-- time of day: Mid-day, weather: clear, Difficulty: Easy, Reticule health: ON, Auto Aim: ON-- For BDB II -- set traffic: PARKED-- this speeds the driving up alot.

Also, I did try messing around with my PS3 getting the chat to come out the TV speakers... couldn't get it to work-- I'll investigate further.

Also, the target time is 5:34, not 5:56 -- the vid says 5:56-- but there is an asterisk in the title and a note on the right (on youtube)... it is 5:34.

Deal Breaker is 7:03

Yeah, I set the cargo hold bomb, then detonated a grenade since there's no way out if you glitch in. Then you respawn either on the deck with a minute to get out (easy) or on the quayside.

I got my blips confused.....

You actually can get out, the normal route, you just can't see any walls til you get out of the interior -- you have to feel your way out-- I've done it before when we had no chance for the time or if I was on my last life.

Yes it is faster to kill yourself out...

Do you want me to drop you off on the back of the ship before I fly up top Famine-- this will speed it up most likely-- less likely to get killed jumping down.

Game time in 4 1/2 hours from the time on this post (so there is no confusion)--

FYI-- I just checked the leaderboards at the social club. It had our best time (the same for each of us) at 6:43 for BDB II-- was that our best?? I stopped paying attention to our time after it goes over the target.

It did not show our noose time, but for some reason it finally updated my time to one I had several weeks ago 2:03 (#795 in the rank list-- this was actually a 2 player noose game I did-- the other guy was the pilot and very good)-- it did not show a time for either of you guys (at least when accessing my "friends list" for noose)

//edit// NVM-- I scrolled down throught global list til I found your times... all is good.... screenshot attached....

We'll give it a whirl both ways to see which is quicker. It might leave the heli too open to attack hovering there for any length of time, but try it :D

9PM is cool for me, got the thinking stuff done in college today, just got the theory to do tomorrow. Look forward to seeing you tonight. Host? I don't mind, I don't think it makes much difference we all have decent connections.

Just make sure you set it to private... the glitch can be caused by someone joining after the game starts...

Are you in Jonesy??

9 PM GMT isn't going to work for me. I have a class later today and I have something else I need to do. I'm free tomorrow and the weekend.

Friday is not good for me until late (not good for Sureshot & Famine) if you wanted to try deal breaker we could work on that late Friday-- I can be on about 10 PM Eastern (3AM GMT)-- are you in the mountain time zone??? Would be about 8 pm friday for your--

I did do several runs with someone today on deal breaker-- we were doing pretty well but in 5 tries we never got the boat spawn-- we got a relatively close time anyway.. (about a minute long)

We had a decent BDB II session although were not successful in getting the time (I think we did improve but still a minute off at least)-- we were close the first two times-- I got shot with one guy left on the bridge both times (sorry-- we should have got it on those runs)-- I need to work on that-- the hold bomb was set in time-- we were not lucky in initial van spawn very much.

We obviously had a bit of confusion-- Famine and I discussed dropping him off on the main deck (on the last page) and then flying the heli up top for me and sureshot to get off... but sureshot got off each time on the main deck....

I did have problems "landing" the heli up top doing it that way-- I think I need the speed to get past the wires or what not to "nail the landing" up on top of the bridge-- I kept bouncing around.

if we drop famine off on the main deck again I think it would be better for sureshot to be on the pilot side of the heli-- so we can hover on the right side of the ship up near the bridge and jump out.

I did not mean to hog the car driving-- if one of you want to drive let me know--

Mics/headsets would help this when the plans change mid game ;)

Better luck next time-- let me know when is good for you guys if you want to try BDB II again this weekend-- going a little earlier is better for me but whatever is convenient.

I'm free all weekend, and I reckon we've got it licked now. One time we had the bridge bomb set in under 5', but I'd landed in water and a couple of times I had the cargo hold bomb set in 4'45. Even the time when I completely fouled up the van driving.

I can make it down to the hold intact if we land up on the bridge, especially if I grab the health pack by the van drop-off. So we may as well keep it simple - all three of us go up top. The two of you take out the three on the bridge, plant the bomb and hold off the reinforcements. I'll drop down to the hold, plant the bomb and grenadicide myself. We should be able to pull it off in 5' flat, if the van is close by.

Oops, missed you and Famine talking about just him getting off on the deck. Is impossible to do our bomb like that...How do you get to the hold bomb?

I laughed, in pain, when both me and Famine jumped from the Heli when you landed on the bridge of the ship and we both went into the water.

6'17 was our best time.

As long as it's 9/10PMish on the weekend I think I can make it. Should know more by tonight.

The cargo hold bomb is a cinch, thanks to a glitch.

Stand on the right side of the hold, level with the bomb and facing it (you'll see the number "12" and a small light). You then do a little jump - if you're in the wrong place you'll climb onto the top. If you're in the right place you'll fall through the deck and land in black hell with the bomb chevron ahead of you. Run up to it to plant the bomb (there'll be a couple of invisible obstacles) then grenade yourself to get out.

If we have two of you up top to take out the bridge crew, we can get that bomb set in under 4'30. I can get down to the hold from the top of the bridge inside that time too.

So:

1) Drop you off on main deck
2) Spuds flies me and him up to the top and we work our way to the bridge bomb.
3) Done

The bit before we've got, we can get to the heli in under 3 minutes.

For step 1, I can still get down to the cargo hold in under 30s from the bridge landing spot, so it's all good :D

Whichever Famine prefers-- is ok for me, I think it speeded him up, getting off in the back on the main deck.

Landing on top of the bridge is more dicey after dropping him off-- I found it easier to not drop him off--

We were so close on those first 2 runs dropping him off though....

Regarding the health at the heli take off point-- if we are all in the van, everyone gets healthed up if the van is driven through it-- do you guys want to take the extra time to get everyone in the van?? If I have full health (or close to it), I don't grab it, if someone is in a car/van with me, i'll usually grab it for them-- another instance where mics would help... we can reserve that for Famine irregardless if you want.

Also regarding the return route after getting the van-- if we are anywhere north of the park-- I think it is fastest & easiest to start heading on the road that is just to the north of the park that goes to the bridge to Alderney, then turn on that last left right before it gets to the water-- I was screaming at famine when he turned early coming on the road from Bohan (he did recover fast)-- when north of the park head south til you hit that road then turn right and left right before the water--

9 PM GMT (saturday) is good for me... I prefer not to go later-- I play when my little one is taking his nap, I like to get him up before it gets too late.

Sureshot, there is a vid for "glitching" into the hold in post # 237 of this thread (with the other vids)-- in case you find yourself down there and Famine gets shot or something.

Remember whoever hosts-- set the match to private and don't forget to set Reticule health to ON-- I do utilize that. And Traffic to parked is pretty important as well.

I'm going to land up top from now on, unless someone tells me otherwise.

Up top works fine for me. The difference is about 5 seconds.

Plus if you guys start shooting the bridge crew, all the others on the boat pay attention to you and I only have one guy to kill between me and the cargo bay.

It did take me a while to get used to the scenario, maybe on the 3rd attempt I knew better what i had to do.

I should be on tomorrow night, I'm chucking open office on my laptop so I should be more productive in my bedroom. I'm sure there's some sinister line in there, somewhere...

I should be more productive in my bedroom.

There it is.

Seriously, I really am missing out here arent i.
I would love to be online sorting things like this with my friends..... can we start a "buy VEXD a PS3 and LCDTV cos he's dead good at GT" thread and see if we can get people to donate?

:irked:👍
