What are the specific error messages you are receiving? I have not been notified of any recent database problems which we are typically plagued with.

Last night between 8PM and about 3AM GMT I couldn't access the site at all, it just failed to load and left me with the 'failed to load' message that appears when on my network.

It's working fine now though.

It's over now, but it might be still of interest: I got the message that the page was not found, just like when you misspell a url. This could happen at any time, meaning when looking for new posts, when entering a thread and when replying.

Is it just me or has GTP been really crappy lately in the way that I cant get onto the site. Like it won load, no error pages or anything, the browser loads half way and then just stays there.

Its fine here. It must just be you.

I've been having problems over the last 3 days. I can only ever access the site late at night or early in the morning (GMT), any other time of day it just gives me a timeout after trying to access it for about 10 minutes. :(

Hmm, it seems for me that a lot of pictures on certain pages won't load... and unlike normal, a simple right click-show picture doesn't always do the trick. SOmetimes I have to do it several times or refresh the thread. It's probably a problem at my end though.

All the pictures haven't been loading for me on GTP for 3-4 months now; maybe since October or November 2005.

I'd say 99% of the pages I visit fail to load at least one image and replace it with the img alt= text. It doesn't normally get in the way of reading the posts though, so not a big deal.

I don't have problems about GTP being slow but I get log out lately, almost each time I open GTP. I never had that problem before. Could it be my computer ==> virus maybe?

Hmm, every forum i've been to on IPB has done that, but i've never heard of it on v-bulletin. :boggled:

As always when there are problems they are intermittent. While accessing the main page I got a weird page with a large text box, something about sql server or something, I could even click in the text box to edit, it refreshed itself before I could get a good look at it though and then it gave me the standard vb error page

I have noticed a bit of that as well recently, but as it is always a picture hosted at imageshack that fails to load, I'd say that it was an imageshack problem rather than a GTP or local problem.

This morning GTP keeps going on-off for me – for a while it works fine, then for several minutes nothing will load, then it’ll be fine again, then for a couple minutes nothing will load…

I use whatever UCSD uses. Plus, it shouldn’t have anything to do with that, because it’s only this site that’s lagging on me – other sites work fine.

Hmm. Internet all around has been really slow, noticibly on Apple.com, digg, xbox.com, etc... plus a bunch of Xbox Live users using Cox can't sign in to XBL.

So, it could just be the ISP.

Hmmmm, yeah its odd that the net has been slow this past week..... the WHOLE thing! ....... somethings up! :odd: :nervous:

GTP’s stalled on me a number of times tonight, especially when searching (including New Posts) and posting.
