OK so first lap of La Sarthe produced a 3:21.8 for me. Sounds good. I think I can knock another half second to a second off that though. I went wide in to the first Porsche curve which put me out of shape for the next one and in turn put me out of shape for the next one etc. So I'm feeling quite confident on pace at the moment :)

You mean 3:21.8 lol. Why does everyone do that? :p

Ok so by the looks of it I am screwed. I hope to be more consistent and will be praying for rain. Remember Jamman, the pressure is on you. I have nothing to lose...

Because everyone's used to short laptimes lol :D

Consistency shouldn't be a problem. If I can be consistent on tight courses with no run off like Suzuka and Laguna Seca, then I should be fine. Not too much pressure to be honest. If I was one point ahead or something I would feel pressure. But 9 points ahead, all I have to do is keep near you all race and finish within 2 places of you :)

Ahhh pity. Autonomy racing probably will because:

1) Johny hates me
2) They are both Ferrari fans.

Anyway as long as you and Johny are out front, infront of MU, I don't mind lol ;)

As I said I just need to finish within two places of him. So if you and Johny come first and second that means I can afford to come 5th :D

EDIT: Infact 6th :D

Don't forget me, I'm extremely fast. And I'm a Ferrari guy too :p

One more guy to beat you and you will only just win...

Okay after almost 4 hours of running in the Mazda tonight in offline practice against my ghost and trying to get used to the track and find a suspension setting I liked with the mazda think I have found the sweet spot for 787. Pushing to my absolute limit and using all of the track the best valid lap I could manage was a 3:20.529.

The only problem is that I can't hit those lap times consistently lap after lap race pace will probably be averaging 3:22 to 3:23 times. Also have no idea how good tire wear is with the Mazda with this setup. Will have to try car online tomorrow night maybe to see how setup feels online and what wear rate is like.

The Mazda does feels horrible in the first sector though the Dunlop chicane and the Esses. Should also be interesting if it rains during the race especially if its at night running minimum downforce.

Good time but don't practice offline. Online physics are different and the car slides about more.

Good luck, because i'm gunning for victory, and i'll stop at nothing. :trouble:

So, preparations are in full swing with everyone practising at Le Mans. Well, everyone except me since I hve yet again refound my love of The Elder Scrolls IV : OBLIVION and can't wait for TESV:SKYRIM to release in november.

Was just wondering, the Mud and Guts DiRT3 pack releases on PSN today and I will be buying the Lancia Stratos and Citroen C4 RX and was wondering if someone will play with me?

^^Don't tell me that you're buying that, golfer, Codies are screwing you :p
That being said, I will return to DiRT after the Finale this Saturday, a friend from Spain just started playing it online today and he wants to get revenge cuz I beat him in DiRT 2 :)

My fastest lap yesterday was 3:25.754 ... getting better. It's only a matter of how big a win I'll get :D

If I win, I want a cake. You ALL must bake me a cake. I don't care about flight costs, I want my cakes. :P

If I win you all send me a beer. I've run out of them and want to celebrate afterwards, lol.. :D Idk the trading limits for them in GT5 though...

I can't get out of work Saturday wich sucks cause Le Sarthe my favorite and the only track I'm decent at .

Looks like I can race after all.....internet issues seem to be resolved.

Still got a spot for me this last race, BK?

Nice one Mike :)

Tested a bit for season 4 today, C60 hybrid is slow as balls 3:29s, Bmw is pretty decent 3:22.....

The Minolta is a tail wagger. It's capable of a pole position, but you'll have to string together a lap without crashing in the first few corners. :ouch:

The more the merrier. Welcome back mike :)

I'll be taking part in an endurance race the day before at La Sarthe, 800kms should be enough for me to know the track like my backhand afterwards, and get me more used to the car I might use next season.

Boredom? Course not  I'll still very much be here, especially if I don't win the race on Friday. Trying to get a leg of the Triple Crown down, so both races are priority for me. 👍

well here are plans for the new set-up.. hopefull ill get it built by today sometime

BK, you don't happen to do design as a job do you? Because that looks amazing. My set up is a squeky chair, an X shaped metal stand and a sheet of woood rested on top. The wood and stand wooble and the chair squeks. I think you get the idea

That makes me wish I still did Technical Drawing even more :( I could design myself a cockpit if I kept it going, but the teacher was totally insane and a massive idiot.

Just been practicing and had an epic 3 lap battle with Jamman. I think he will post pictures of it soon. :)

His best lap before the race was a super quick 3:21.0. I can't get near that. However I could more than keep up in the race, especially due to the slipstream. We exchanged positions many times. Jamman will tell you about the final result! :D

Just doing this as a gimmick for the last race. Thought it would be quite fun

:D Ill add to it later as this has been rushed just now lol
