Oh yeah, my 959 was RWD. I tried to do the same with the EB110, but it just couldn't hit S750.

Edit; I did try the F1, but it was not impressive. I may go back and try again. Same with the XJ220.

Here are some of my times with various cars from this group. Some got more love than others, and it's reflected in the times.
Bugatti EB110 SS blue 2:30.411
Jaguar XJ220 FE yellow 2:28.281
Porsche 959 silver 2:28.089
Lamborghini Diablo black, gold, red 2:27.104
Lamborghini Countach Valvoline 2:27.070
McLaren F1 orange 2:27.387
Ferrari 512 TR Shell Racing 2:26.014
Ferrari F40 green 2:25.835
BMW M1 elf Racing 2:24.518
Ferrari F50 red 2:23.194 RPM Bibblefishs' Tune

I will give the last 3 cars another go later on tonight. I know I can get lower now, especially with the F50, as I had a dirty lap of 2:22.xxx

Kudo's to everyone for this weeks great competition. I got my best time last night in the F50 with RPM Bibblefishs' tune, (Thanks!). I got down to 2:22.894 and could probably get it close to 2:20 if I had more time. Unfortunately, my friend is hosting this years 1st barbecue, and grilled meats are calling me! Woo Hoo!

I got carried away with the Rivals event in the C7R at Sebring and didn't even think about trying to improve my time any further.

Week 4 - Rise of the Supercar - Rio, Full Circuit

1. RPM Bibblefish - Ferrari F50 - 2:14.073

2. FastBud - Ferrari F50 - 2:15.995

3. itrfred2 - Ferrari F50 - 2:18.345

4. RM Tricky Nixon - Ferrari F40 - 2:18.782

5. VICGT1970 - Ferrari F40 - 2:19.689

6. IamVALHALLA - Ferrari F50 - 2:21.000

7. WhiteSwordTower - Ferrari F50 - 2:21.775

8. AlienDeathRay15 - Ferrari F50 - 2:22.894

I was #1 for a little while

The track is great. After an initial run I can report that the Project 7 FE is utter crap, doesn't turn and doesn´t brake! The regular Project 7 is fine. Also I may have to turn the full racing line because the limits are not very clear in spots, keep dirtying my laps.

Oh wait, it's the GP layout, I thought it was the full course. :dunce: I did an online race there last week with the Evora.

I might need to clarify that one actually. There's a particular layout I intended but now you have me wondering...

Back in a min.

EDIT: It's the Full Circuit guys, not the GP layout. My mistake, sorry. OP amended as well.

Great if it's the full course, I absolutely hate the chicane at the end of the esses in the GP layout.

OK, finally got around to getting some laps in. Using the Cayman in stock form (tuning-wise), I managed a 1:43.825 which I though was a pretty good time, but then I added a tune from My Lord (of course) and slashed well over 2 seconds off that time - posting a 1:41.654, good for 4th in our little leaderboard so far.

That'll never last though

And it will turn into the Evora Cup...:lol:

I tried the Cayman, but the Homologation nerfs it (it's stock at 673 and the limit is 675) so you're basically stuck with a stock car unless you add the rollcage and aero (and even then you have like 10 PI to play with). I'm going to give the M2 a try, but it's clear the Evora is the fastest car in that category.

Don't turn your backs on the Pontiac Solstice, I just ran a 1:44.xxx in a nice tuned one that has good grip and good downforce. Which bettered my 1st run in the Cayman. I'll give the Cayman another go with RPM Bibblefishs tune later this week. The Solstice is a good fit for this track though, and I think I can get that time lower for sure given a few more runs in it.

Sonoma is mostly about handling, so the lighter, less powerful cars are going to have an obvious advantage. The Project 7 is absolutely terrible around here, I'm suspecting the normal F-Type to be even worse. So far the Evora is way faster than everything else but I've seen a few 370Zs at the top end of the leaderboards so that might be worth a try as well. My fastest time in the Lotus was only half a second faster than my fastest time in the Cayman, so I'm not giving up on that one either.

Decisions, decisions.

I tried the 370z and was just abit slower than my time in the Evora, will give it another go tonight :D
