Maybe he didn't notice? He showed me before posting it and I actually didn't see that! XD
To be honest man, this kind of thing can go unnoticed very easily.
Remember, everyone has different screens / screen brightnesses. My iMac couldn't pick that up but my netbook can. They're both set on full brightness aswell haha! Also another time when it can happen is when the screen is tilted, shades can look darker.
That's what I've noticed from personal experience, anyway!
