Welcome Strunz 👍 Looking forward to seeing you on the track Saturday. Would you kindly fill out this form so we can put you in the automated registry system we use for most events (we don't use it usually for the Saturday races as they are a bit more informal). Once you have that filled out send PSN friend requests to our lounges: GTP_3D3Racing is the main lounge, but also sent to GTP_3D3_A and GTP_3D3_B which we use for special and/or larger events. The race on Saturday will take place in the main 3D3 lounge and the lounge will most likely open up about 30 minutes prior to the race (19:30 GMT)... just keep an eye on this thread and a steward will post when it's ready for pre-race practice.

Not sure we're going to run as many as 15 lap stints so you might be just fine.

Maybe more like 12 laps for each race... we don't want the event to go for too long and we'd rather just have pits not be an issue unlike on Wednesdays were we try to make them a point of strategy if possible.

We'll also do grid starts per the normal attack format which saves some time.... as long as PD gets the order correct! The 2nd race will be reverse grid and I've never seen that messed up, plus it's staggered release anyway so a rolling start won't work.

If the grid is larger than usual we reserve the right to do a rolling start for first race and thus set the regs to 13 laps... we'll see.

I created a sub name in my first PS3 then I purchased another strictly just to play GT5. Now on my new PS3 it won't let me use my sub user name. I've already lost everything from my old PS3 trying to figure out why.

Race today will be in the GTP_3D3Racing lounge and about 30-45 mins before the start a steward will open lounge for pre-race warm up and post to this thread.

Fyi... Top qualifiers ran mid/low 1'52 to give you and idea. Some ran BB 3/5 to save front tires and some ran 6/5 for better handling under braking.

Today will feature an attack format dual sprint. First race is normal with fastest first. 2nd race reverse grid with a twist. Drivers have to wait before launching from grid based on a % of gap from race 1. We will give instructions via mic.

No, we've never made an exception and we're not going to start now.

However, I'll offer you an olive branch. If you create a new PSN with a GTP tag and send me a FR (to GTP_WRP001) I'll send you a fully broken in Lambo you can use in the race today I'll send a FR from the 3D3 lounge to your new PSN account. Make the PSN account somewhat close to the old name so I know it's you. You're going to have to do this sooner or later so might as well bite the bullet now.

After the race you can work out the issue with the original "failed" GTP account and/or use the new one for the registry. PM me about that after the race.

I ran the car for a couple of laps and managed a high 1'52, going to let b-spec bob run the car in further.

Cool, I processed your entry and added you to our online driver database so you are set and all future registrations using our google forms system will be automatic.

I'll log into the 3D3 accounts in about 30 minutes and accept your friend requests.

We are limiting power in this car to 552 hp (to simulate arcade mode power level) so it's not complete disaster if the car isn't fully broken in, but a fully broken in car power limited does give a bit of a power band advantage so definitely worth working out a bob.
