funny thing is, i didnt find any youtube option is GT5 yet, but again, i didnt pay attention to the youtube feature yet... just didnt catch my eye so far.

Tomorrow i will do a proper search for it, and if found, then there will be a video of it :lol:

Nice online race, was that a free for all custom setting with no car limitations? that nascar was smoking you haha, there's only 2 things I'd find annoying, did you find out if you can disable all that text on the side yet? it looked like people were talking and every time someone would it would cover your side mirror (that'd get annoying after a while) other than that, looked fun, and looked like it had a lot less lag than prologue, hopefully they have the lag sorted out good, because I noticed when that guy spun out, he didn't go into the "GT5P protective mode" that's what I call it anyways, like in prologue where if someone spun they would become untouchable for a few seconds so they didn't cause a massive pileup, not sure how it is now. but yeah, looks good chris!

Good one... Yeah, I would love to know that Chris. BTW, Nice driving. Good to see that the gameplay is smooth. And the spanish guys with italian cars got messed up :P
 
You'll have to post a video of you Racing Modifying a car eventually, Chris. But, great videos. Love the commentary and everything. 👍 Awesomeness!

yes there are car limitations, if you are the host, you can choose the time, weather, laps and car's. one make race, karts only, F1 only etc.... so far i never encountered such a situation regarding "ghost" cars...

I was using a Nokia bluetooth headset. Used it with COD:MW2 and it works perfectly in GT5!

so far im still not fully associated with the online mode, didnt find any option for replay, nor have i gotten any prize money in any races... ???, lots of time i found my self in a total WTF situation, where i had no clue whats going on.

For example, i joined a race at Nordschleife, but for some reason i was driving all by myself but i was still overtaking people... maybe it was just a time trial run, but it said RACE ... not quit sure yet.

I meant, take the Miata you were driving for example; if you had tried to shift without using the clutch, would the car in-game jam or not let you into gear until you depressed the clutch?

I saw in one of your other vids with the Subaru that you stalled it.

Hey Chris.

Once again, great thread! I'll apologize in advance if you already answered this. In the end, you chose the Miata to begin with, but what other cars did you consider? Did you consider any FF (front-engined, front-wheel drive) vehicles to start with? A FF vehicle would have allowed you to use that vehicle for the FF series, but then again, wouldn't have the rotational properties of the Miata, so handling wouldn't be quite as good.

Ignoring the premium vs. standard element for a moment. For those of us that will be starting our GT Life games this week, do you still recommend the Miata, or would you have chosen a different vehicle to start with that was more versatile for the different series.

sorry for the late response, but there is no flat shifting.

I did search a bit, bout i found the Miata the best for my preferences in the beginning :) there were couple of used cars (std cars) but yea... :)

I wondering that too. Maybe a way to create a hall of shame for drivers intensionally driving bad.
 
Did you try replay theater for the youtube option. Also can you view and save online race replays?

Edit2: Guy in F40 must have gotten caught looking in the mirror :)

Haha, now everyone will be looking to join Chris' races cuz 1) they'll know he'll be fair, and 2) he's a pro; we all want a shot at racing a real racer!

Maybe there are Ranked races where you can only get cash to prevent some people from cheating buy playing buddies and tell them to let one person win to quickly "farm" credits?
