Nope, just won it yesterday but good question, will try to race them today, but to be honest... whats the points, the Cart maxes out at 120 km/h :sly:

No, you cant, too bad. if you try to power shift you'll just end up in Neutral...

Hey Chris, can you show a video of a manual car where you try to shift without the clutch at speed? (maybe the Miata :) ). Thanks so much for all of the videos!

what do you mean exactly? you mean to power shift? or just using the pedals?

So far this game has only 2 things that are a 👎 !!
One being that you can NOT fast forward your replays like in GT4 (maybe i just haven't unlocked this feature yet... )
and the other thing is that you still cant shift using the G25 while have wheel spin... aka while drifting you still end up in Neutral...

On another note, the tuning parts... i dont know what happened to the brakes... some say in the French version they are included... well in mine they arent.

Thanks for the info and insight, also can you confirm in the video that you did in the STI rally, did the car stall and is it possible to kick the clutch to initiate a drift...I know you said you cannot shift while wheels are spinning and that today you will doing some drifting. Looking forward to more videos and on the spot commentry 👍 Enjoy!

Just one more thing, is there any difference in the "feel" of the standard vs premium cars?

well the car does stall, but it stalls like GT5P did, and yes you can kick the clutch to initiate your butt getting sideways :sly:

damn it, ya, i will definitely try that today! Did 2 races without ABS and its much improved over driving without ABS in GT5P

dont have enough money yet to acquire that car, PD gave some cars humangos price tags :D which is great in my opinion.

Going to buy a std car today and see if there is a difference in the physics... i hope not!

They should be identical due to the common physics engine.

If/when you do buy more cars I would appreciate it if you could show us the racing modification available for them.

please don't forget the racemod on standard cars and non rm cars from the carlist ;)

oh and is the Fiat 500F (old one) buyable as startercar?

Chris, would you please look into the LeMans (time) or the Nüburgring (time) track and explain how that works when starting a race with daytime-transitions ?

The question is: Are we able to set the time-of day prior to the race on these tracks AND is there a setting for the speed of the day-night cycles ?
(I hope it can be set to REALTIME)

In this video I've found yesterday evening I was shocked that it gets dark within 9 minutes (2 laps) and I am very confused if the transitions are always that fast and if it is even possible to choose the time-of-day when racing on those tracks ?

Would appreciate if you could clear this up because that's an important feature to me.

profi, i wouldn't be supprised that you can only do a propper 24hour race in the endurance section..

since they are playing in arcade mode for that vid you posted it is probably cycled quicker to showcase the effects.

Sorry that my first question is a negative one but what do you make of the framerate generally? I've heard a report that it can get noticeably bad at times. I don't know if the source is trusted.

They suggest it's not the odd frame dropping here or there at the start of a race but actually during the race in a bad way.

Or are they just egging me on?! :scared:

Here's one for you if you have time, on a long dull straight, say Fuji or maybe somewhere on High Speed Ring, just going straight ahead do you feel tension in the wheel (i.e. resistence as soon as you turn it even slightly)? Is there any rumble of information coming thorough?

I don't have the game bro but I actually think it's true the same thing happened in prolouge alot when around alot of cars it's like it's lagging slightly you can notice it and it does get annoying but it doesn't affect you
 
i don't heard something like this and i can't trust your informations ( your source ) because if the framerate is noticeably bad at some times then this would be a disaster and PD would not realase it ...
and i don't saw any problems in the videos
if the game runs on 60fps then i don't think that the framerate will be noticeably bad in big situations , maybe it will run in this situations on 50fps or 40 , but that is noticeably

It wasn't much i'd usually get it in the reverse track of high speed ring in a race with 16 cars just after you pass the tunnel onto the right turn

Sorry.

I meant, take the Miata you were driving for example; if you had tried to shift without using the clutch, would the car in-game jam or not let you into gear until you depressed the clutch?

I saw in one of your other vids with the Subaru that you stalled it. :dopey:
 
Hey Chris, thanks for posting the excellent vids. Although it makes the wait until next week even longer :).

I'll be quite new to the GT experience so sorry if this is a very dumb question, but i understand you bought the MX 5 as a basic car to begin your career, does that mean these races you did are on default car set-up or did you alread tweak something in the set-up?
