I have a TVR in my garage and had previously added aero, but could not convert it to RM.

Are you sure it was the Tuscan Speed 6 and not the Cerbera Speed 6? You can only RM the Tuscan and you should be able to apply RM even if you have previously applied other mods 👍

Here's my splits so far:

0:16.797
0:26.803
0:22.067

My submission keeps getting rejected. I'm putting my time in the PM box with the correct Subject as it says in the OP. But what else should I include?

Still don't know why my submissions are being rejected . . .

You are not putting Time: at the start of your submission PM's, the format of the time you put in the last PM was correct, but the missing word is the reason your time is being rejected.

The leader board still isn't working for 3 splits, I guess I will have to wait until it is to post my new splits.

Just post them anyway so everyone can see them, you don't need to wait for Fetchy. The leaderboard will update with the first two for now and then all of them when its sorted.

Correct. We have contacted Joost. Since the Leaderboard had the wrong splits when the event was posted, it requires manual intervention that's in the code, so we are not able to simply update it. Keep posting all 3 splits, it should be updated soon, and will pick up all 3 once the LB has been updated.

Oh my, I can't believe I didn't include that - guess I was just blind to it. Thanks, done it now, properly.

Looks like I already had a Tuscan Speed 6 RM with no extra added parts and it's already been driven beyond break-in. That saves me a bunch of time now.

I still can't beat that superb lap I did yesterday despite changing everything on the setup and also the fact that I now have 5bhp more

Just did a quick baseline run. Not sure if my car had any setup on it prior to running it today, but it sure does exhibit understeer when pushed hard.

16.834
26.517
22.212

Finally got an improvement, lost a tenth in the last sector though :( Don't know if it's a good thing running such firm front suspension with the bumps (and jumps) on this track

New Splits:

16.277
25.766
21.472

Quick half hour after Bob put so many dents into my nice new Tuscan running it in I had to get some kleenex to dry my eyes before I could have a go

16.925
26.470
21.813

Happy Birthday WRS! And a hearty and warm round of thank-yous to Kevin, Vaxen and all the admins who keep this series running, and have done for quite some time now. 👍

This combo is mental and I'm getting flash-backs from Week 2 (which kept me from sleep and had me overdosing on coffee ). The TVR is more to my liking though I think... so hopefully I'll have a bit more time to run it than the last couple of weeks and I can see it through to submission.

I ran it a bit last night to try and set the car up but forgot to post my splits. Ran again tonight, finished the setup and made a marginal gain on the lap:

16.168
25.814
21.371

Best 1st and 2nd sectors so far 16.086 and 25.721 respectively. This was my best 3rd sector but lost a tenth from my best run to the line. Hopefully I'll get another couple of runs anyway.

Setup:

A very minor improvement, but it's something:

0:16.797 0:16.765
0:26.803 0:26.606
0:22.067 0:22.085

Amen to the Thank You'se and thanks for the tune Chris!!

Another improvement of sorts:

16.797 16.765 16.817
26.803 26.606 26.545
22.067 22.085 22.075

16.631
26.789
22.304

The first sector is still a struggle, but I'm making more time in the latter sectors.

Had a quick run, still down on hp, and trying to get used to the tyres after running the seasonal on comfort mediums in the mazda.

Managed some ok times (for me) but not strung a decent whole lap together.

Using Chris' tune, cheers. Made a ghost lap on racing softs to give me something to chase - and its still slower than your splits Chris lol.

3 steps forward, 4 steps back :( Just can't string em all together and can never nail that first sector when/if I improve on the others...so frustrating

16.925 16.910
26.470 26.134
21.813 22.114

Did a nice lap then I noticed I was just inside the rumble strip at the anti-penultimate left-hander. Easy place to mess up (especially if you have the driving line switched on :embarrassed:). Nice to see you here Mike (Argon56)!

16.854 17.102 16.800 16.538 16.660 16.506 16.394
26.385 26.166 26.367 26.241 26.196 26.229 26.280
22.303 22.055 21.882 21.956 21.862 21.850 21.928

Has anyone tried it with less than maximum rear downforce to try and combat the understeer in the fast corners?

I've been tweaking the suspension to deal with the understeer - I don't know what effect Aero adjustment has on that kind of thing so I haven't tried it.

I've been using a tweaked version of Mad Finn Tuners' tune for this car and it's been the best one I've found, with some extra negative front toe it's loose enough for me.

First splits:

16.867
26.159
21.767

It's really tricky to ensure that any particular lap is clean, earlier on today I had a few decent laps that all had to be chucked away as I had three wheels off.

The understeer is murderous, too.

My biggest problem isnt understeer, its really the bumpy ride the car seems to be bouncing around way too much. Anyway here are some splits, not sure I'll get as much time this week as normal.

16.678
26.386
22.014

Small Improvement threw away the last sector though :banghead:

16.583
26.157
21.965

Messed up the last sector even worse now, that will do for today

16.415
26.213
21.904

Currently experimenting with lower rear downforce, I've currently testing it at 40 () and it seems to be fairly stable, certainly more drivable than before (and the max speed is a bit higher too :)). Anything lower and the car loses it in the jump after the first tunnel.

EDIT: Just set these splits with rear 45:

16.610
26.209
21.814
