I think I'll go for the same approach as i did in week 12.
Going to try to get 3 clean and relatively fast laps in the bank early.
After that i can go bold and try to shave time.
Came very close to a non submission in week 12 trying to tie up 2 clean laps because i left it to the last minute.
Throwing the controller in the box, onto the wheel full time, laps to follow tonight.
Cheers All !!!

I'm still trying to find the correct lines, especially through the second corner. Drifting your way through is not the fastest way :sly:

Not my quickest T3 been more than a tenth better, but didn't want to mess up my run of 3 laps. may find that little bit more on my second go at this fun combo. 👍

For some reason I can run a good T1 OR a good T2, but never in the same lap. Had a good few 14.9xx T1, but not on this lap...

15.188 :ouch:
17.078
10.147

Slow down Philip, is your garden giving you an extra boost? :sly:

T3: 0'10.066

I was doing the same as cico with a 42.145 but took a little to much curb, yeah you heard it right dranddad is taking curb :grumpy: when I viewed the replay, so I just had to go again.

Don't know if these combined are better yet the .0 got the better of me, need a lie down now. :sly:

(Whipped it up in a couple minutes, there will be more to come).

Finally I'll be competing in this one, my right hand has healed after the dog attack. Love Minis, great combo to come back to.

After 9 laps:
T1: 15.166
T2: 17.248
T3: 10.297

Splits are a little more embarrasing than I thought.:embarrassed:

Constancy is key this week it seems. Got nowhere near my best lap with this but overall a lot quicker.

15.261
17.646
10.329

Any tips on brake balance. I think I used 8/3 for this session but it could have been the other way round.

Cheers

I'm using 3/7 Wilco

Damn, I'm only 0.02 slower than Phillip in T2+T3 combined (an acomplishment indeed) - will be working on my T1 tonight hopefully. According to my faithful spreadsheet, if I hook my best sectors together I should be able to get a 42.19  suspect that this will be harder to acheive than it is to type!!!

Another session, this time with brakes set at 3/7:

T1: 15.095
T2: 17.337
T3: 10.312

Every time I get a good three laps I get one purple sector per lap... I guess that leads to consistent lap times, but not exactly going to get me a great single lap.

I have managed to bank 3 respectable laps.
Seems that I'm not the only one struggling to keep the rear from overtaking the front.
I suspect as the alignment of the car front to rear improves so to will my times.
Plenty to come yet.
Cheers All !!!

First session here. Took a bit to work out how hard to push the car in T2, really easy to overwork these tires. Had a few 16.8 T2's but haven't been able to string them together with the last turn... it's really a crap shoot through there so far.

First splits:
T1: 14.818
T2: 17.155
T3: 10.130

I'm confused guys, I thought in arcade only cars you could not tune the cars.
How are you adjusting the brake balance? What am I missing?

You need to access the RA menu - this gives you access on track to TCS, ABS, Brake balance, torque splits and one or two other things I think. I have these mapped to the DS3 and have set the DS3 to be controller 1. There's a thread about it somewhere in the main forums.

Wow, I had no idea you could do that. I've only been playing Gran Turismo for about nine months now, learn more everyday.

Thanks for the info Carlos, I'll have to check that out in the morning.
