Too bad I blew it in T5 (Off my best by over 0.6), but still up at the line as I had a major improvement in the last sector. Still not consistent in T6 though and it's costing me otherwise good laps.

Have been using Vagabonds original setup (except I'm using max aero). Will try the new tweaks including slightly reduced rear aero. Thanks for posting that.

Hahahahaha thats hilarious. Im actually now trying to make my car corner better and faster and you know what? I did, but it also raised the top speed of my car at the same time! I just did a 17.8 exactly pulling 147mph for awhile.

EDIT: Updated splits, using Chris' 2.0 tune, but I had to jack the back up by 5, and use BB 6/6 instead of 5/7.
I kept spinning under braking...

My routine...
Solid up to Arnage, spin. Restart.
Solid up to Arnage, take it to slow and loose to much time. Restart.
Solid up to Mulsanne, brake too early. Restart.
Brake too late at the first chicane. Restart
Get a good lap going only to mess up on the last chicane. Done for the night

So far, I've completed 3 laps..

I know it can be frustrating but doing it like this will mean that you get just about zero experience in the final part of the track. It might be better to complete your laps even if you know it was a slow or dirty one.

Thought I'd have another go but my wheel is failing on me :grumpy:
It won't stay calibrated, the force feedback comes and goes... Don't know what's wrong.

I do know I have alot more time to win now that I'm using the setup from Chris, making the car much faster in the straights.

Edit: I'm getting 10 minute windows before the wheel crashes and I have to wait for 5 min to get it back.

Using Chris' set-up (👍 thanks Chris), sanitised to my skill level (got sick of looking at barrier's) and have come up with this lap so far. I made a mistake into Arnage and got the outside rear in the dirt so I ended up going through the corner slowly and sideways which left me off boost for the start of the run down to the Porsche curves. Reckon there's another second in it for me. Race on (I thought Chuk was going to run this week?) :cheers:

My first splits after an hour of which 45 mins was blissfully spent running laps on wrong track with chicanes. Couldn't understand why I was so slow (not that I'm fast on the correct track)

Messed around with the gearbox and found a little better acceleration 200->300 without sacrificing top speed down Mulsanne. Missed my braking point after the straight which cost a lot of time, but still improved the OT by .7 seconds. :D Soooo much time to be won/lost in the last two sectors.

Impressive splits 👍 What tune are you using to be able to gain a second on the straight yet still beat my best in T1 :scared: :dunce:

Still can't hook that magic lap up, I can be half a second up at the 2nd split but be a tenth down in T5. Then I gain 4 tenths through the Porsche curves and am then somehow 3 tenths down at the line :confused: I'm running out of time as I have packing to do aswell.

I drive in cockpit view; I wish some of the standard (classic) race cars were made into premiums like the Mazda (but that beef is already on threads out there :))

I enjoyed the Renault at Nordwand 👍
 
I'm hoping to get my wheel fixed by the end of the week because it's not doing anything right now.

I had a much better lap but it was red lapped in the Porsche curves, didn't know why with only 2 wheels on the grass.

I also have had several laps red flagged at the porsche curves after what I thought was clean driving, didn't bother to check if they were clean or not, just assumed they were dirty, I'm guessing it was the left hander?

Don't really know, was way too focussed on the corners and super happy that I made it out alive and finding out it was red lapped :yuck:

Thanks for posting splits and early this time Mad Max....I thought I was totally going the wrong way tuning wise but I cant seem to go any other way. Everything I do to make my car corner better (except BB) increases my speed down the long straight.

You most definitly are doing at least 150mph. That is awesome.:)👍

Edit: Just got a trophy for doing 111 meters per second.

Not a very good finish once again. Don't see much more time from me through T5 unless there's some tuning option that makes me fly through tertre rouge like Chris does, but I think I can shave at least .5 on the overall time ...
