Not sure about the body kits etc to be honest but the rear wing setting has a pronounced effect. I am running the car totally stock, complete with Bandit special edition paint job. :)

I really want to add the rear wing for that tiny bit extra but that means ruining the Bandit's legacy!

Sorry for double post, but I have some new splits from a run this morning. :)

all I'm trying to do is find the racing line and stay to it. I'll leave going fast to the experts :) thats me, hopefully only for a few days

late to the party ,but yes yes yes , great job guys !! I Just gotta have a go !

splits tba.

Standard issue 1st sector video might help:

That's just too  and I thought that hunting for dark dirt would help me track out and get goin quicker. So I guess there isn't any traction disadvantage in blowin through the weeds.... wow (great line control by the way "V")

ten laps for now...

Learned to love the grass, even if it's pretty parched. ;) BB 5/5, no aero parts.

Just a few more minutes gave me 7 tenths, but that's because I drove about 200 km in a car too new for those films.

Brakes 4/1

Having a lot of fun with this one. So much that I even watched the original movie last night ;)

Young non-Americans will be confused :D

Edit: This includes me but I just saw a Gas Monkey Garage episode that mentioned the movie so I looked it up.
Trivia: What was the graphic on the hood called?

If nobody guessed yet, I think "Phoenix" is what the hood graphic would be called, maybe..
Sorry if this was already posted..

I'd do this if a handbrake was allowed..

Sure I'd be way faster if I switch ABS on, but that steals all the fun I have smashing that dirty old bastard through the dust... No, it's not the smooth way I try. It's the "Walter Röhrl Style".

Using the handbrake would gain you nothing anyway, so may as well just give it a go :)

You got me.. Brake bias is the way anyway.. I drove this car on this track a long time ago, and if I remember correctly it tends to rotate fairly well.. I'll give it a try today.. Thanks..👍

Nice to see you running Chris! 👍

Alright.. I have a hard time forcing myself to spend long chunks of time trying to shave 10ths..
Like Patrick once told me.. that's what it requires, and I know that..

I worked on it for about 30 min so far, but really a fun combo..
Don't know if I could improve much from here..

@euclid58 Fetchy saw your void splits before your edit, and he doesn't come back to look at edits, so please post the correct ones again. :)

That very well may be it for me this week unless i get home early on monday. All I can say is watch @Vagabond 's video, try to find and stay to a line and don't go full throttle all the time. Just take it easy  Best of luck guys 👍
