Submission:

All submissions must be sent by PM (Subject title: GTP_WRS Week 46 Submission ) to (Vaxen):

  • Please submit your time in the following format on a single line:
    [Division#]---M'SS.XXX---GTP_Tag
    (Example-) [division 2]---1'44.678---GTP_Sjaak
  • you can submit only once
  • please include in your submission PM your division, GTP_Tag and final lap time

Why Use GMT?:
GMT is World Time and the basis of every world time zone which sets the time of day and is at the centre of the time zone map. GMT sets current time or official time around the globe. Most time changes are measured by GMT. Although GMT has been replaced by atomic time (UTC) it is still widely regarded as the correct time for every international time zone.

Time verification:

Save your ghost replay and keep it at least a full two weeks after the event's deadline:

  • Racers, named by the OLR Admin staff, (if any) will be required to submit a replay for verification
  • any submitted time is subject to a time verification request
  • when a time verification has been requested, the concerned racer must provide the correct replay within seven days of the request
  • failure to do so will result in the removal of the unverified submission from the results table
  • video replays are not accepted as a form of verification

Oh very nice idea. this will be an enticing encounter.

That must have taken some time to work out some parody.
Thanks sjaak68 and any one else who took part in setting this one up.👍

This looks absolutely brilliant, count me in :)

All the best

Great idea, love the handicap thing. Lets get this F40 out the way and get going!

Great combo! Interesting to see how the handicaps will work out on the leaderboard.
Suzuka is by far the most frequently visited track in WRS, and probably will remain so until GT5 👍

Rightfully so :D

I am also very interested to see how the PP difference works out. After all, the change from 750PP to 800PP meant that all the competitive cars were roughly 3 seconds a lap faster, that is with FIFTY PP extra. Now the gap between D1 and D4 is sometimes more than 3 seconds per lap and with only a 15PP difference it may not mix things up as much as you may think.

I have a feeling D2 gold may have a very very good week :)

All the best
Maz

Maz the difference between D1 and D4 is 37pp 787-824.
So the times could be very close, giving D4 a chance at the overall win.

Oops should have paid more attention, I was looking at the power clicks not the PP

You're right, should be classic :)

All the best

Interesting to see how this will work out! I'd be a sucker not to participate!

This sounds a great idea. BUT just my luck I go on holiday this week so won't get a chance to run in this one :grumpy:

I just hope it works out good and we see it in later weeks 👍

Well I'm happy to be the first to embarrass Division 1 :D

T1: 51.157
T2: 1'33.196

Superb combo.

All the best
Maz

Here's what I have so far.........

51.648

Will make it back to this one. 👍

First splits, with a homemade tune, so there is probably a bit of room for improvement during the week.

T1: 51.364
T2: 1:33.580

Description:
The Mines GTR is already a highly tuned, high performance driving machine, however we here at LDP felt it still wasn't perfect for track use. Taking this masterpiece of a motor, we only reworked the ECU with some small adjustments bringing power up to 634bhp, combining this with huge weight reduction by stripping out the car of all but the bare essentials leaves for some compelling performance. Although the car bogs down at the start due to the racing slicks, acceleration is good and we didn't want to compromise the gearing for the rest of the track with the new close ratio gearbox tailored to the engines power band. Then we got to work on the cars handling, trying to remove understeer whilst not providing massive amounts of oversteer which the Mines can be known for. The tweaks and extra downforce have gone a long way to achieving this, but the Mines still remains a little heavy in this class. Enjoy the ride though, this cars a fun one.

Tracks Tuned For/On:
Suzuka

Tuner's Notes:
Shift just before hitting the limited, be careful of power oversteer when stamping on the throttle. This car is relatively easy to drive though.

A tune by Lion's Den Performance's Dragonistic.👍 Enjoy.:) (Adjust PP to suit regulations naturally).

At last, been waiting for this one since the end of week-43, will try to give it a go tonight....thanks Kevin and all who came with this one...

Nice tune Paulie/Dragonistic, car works well with it.

51.993
1'34.083

Loads of time left, quite a poor T3 on that lap in particular. 130R is such a vital corner for that last sector, get it wrong and you can easily be 10mph down on the ideal a-pex speed, which you carry all the way down to Casio. Like to think I could get a T2 of 1'33.5 before submitting.

Edit: Got better laps and much better under braking by 5/7, rather than 6/4.

1st set of splits using modified Blitz Hendrix tune

T1 - 52.277
T2 - 1'34.651

Might just squeeze this one in as this this looks like a great combo on my favourite track. Though I doubt I'll get on until Friday.
