IMG_1301.jpg

Why Use GMT?:
GMT is World Time and the basis of every world time zone which sets the time of day and is at the centre of the time zone map. GMT sets current time or official time around the globe. Most time changes are measured by GMT. Although GMT has been replaced by atomic time (UTC) it is still widely regarded as the correct time for every international time zone.
Time verification:

Save your ghost replay and keep it at least a full two weeks after the event's deadline:

  • Racers, named by the OLR Admin staff, (if any) will be required to submit a replay for verification
  • Any submitted time is subject to a time verification request
  • When a time verification has been requested, the concerned racer must provide the correct replay within seven days of the request
  • Failure to do so will result in the removal of the unverified submission from the results table
  • Video replays are not accepted as a form of verification

Good luck, :gtplanet:

Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooo, not HSR, pleeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaaase:scared:
How I hate that track  !!! And the car btw....

Kevin, did you read my post in the Leaderboard Feedback and thought "oh cool, Ren hates the track and the car, perfect combo???
Just kidding as usual of course, I know you don't exactly have a huge choice in tracks.... and many people like it, so......

Oh well, I commited myself to participating in as many WRS as possible since I really want to improve. And maybe I have the same experience as with the F1 and it turns out to be good fun!

Good luck to all!

Is there any place in particular where the racing line is close to invisible walls. :scared:

We've had lots of DQ's in the final turn at HSR in GTP_WRS. (Right hand guardrail has an invisiwall in front of it).

I would say it's had more than any other turn, although I have not verified.

The way I run it, I try to just let my tires brush the concrete rumble. If you get up on it, there is serious risk.

Hope that helps. :)

Maybe another half second max with a better turn 1 and some sort of plan going into the final corner.

It would be my first time with the Benz, but I feal really good at HSR...not like that bloody Daytona track (that track was designed to remind me "Yes, experience matters, you idiot!"). I'll try to give my best this time 👍!

PS: Was "So, an Elephant walks onto a rece track..." the begining of a joke? If so, I wanna hear it .

T1: 0.29'115
T2: 0.50'177

A couple of laps done, felt quite well, I'm loving the elephant. But as always...the problem is me. Hopefully, there's improvement on the way.

Improvement! :dopey:

T1: 0.28'778
T2: 0.49'164

I want to marry this elephant and move to High Speed Ring :dopey:. This is truly one of the only cars I feel confortable driving without ASM (yes, I use ASM, I'm a noob...I know it :guilty:).

This is my first attempt with about 1hr & 15min of driving.

T1: 0'28.773
T2: 0'49.574

There's definitely room for improvement, but not too bad I guess.

Need a little more tweaking on the tune and might actually be able to catch a Div 1 racer this week - riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight!

Yikes...I see everyone fiddling around with the tunning...I might be even MORE behind this time since I know two facts about tunning, and both of them are wrong :yuck:.
