Haha, I did a Virtual Stock Exchange way back in 6th grade. Funnily enough, I didn't see this before now, so I thought I'd join up. Better late than never.
Exactly! Thanks for joining, and good luck!
Looks like Hershey's finally reached its peak...
As long as you have your stop loss in place, it shouldn't be too bad. If you didn't buy it yet, I'd monitor it for a little bit, paying SPECIFIC attention to the amount of shares being shorted and the number of put options that are being traded. These factors as well as EPS Trends should give you an idea as to whether the price drop is short-term, or long-term.
oooh, looks like i made a wise choice in deciding not to buy anything since i sold. i guess you're right mrktmkr....check this out:
As if there was any doubt.

j/k
What made you come to the conclusion that you should not buy anything?
anyway, what happened to all the hussle-bussle that this topic once was?
It's natural for people to lose interest in the stock market after a while. Especially after GT4 coming out, the thread has had a significant "cooling off". I'm sure by the time the summer roles around and people have a bit more time (NO SCHOOL!) the thread will pick up a bit. I predict the most traffic though, will take place when the competition draws to a close. Almost everyone will be scrambling to get the highest score -- especially if there's a prize involved.
In other news, I haven't been able to update the thread in a while because I've been concentrating on my real stocks. Also, I'll be monitoring a 401k as well... so I may not have as much time to do MrktMkr tips and MrktMkr predictions like I used to.

I'll do things like that when I have the time.
I do, however, strongly suggest that you follow the tips when you look for stocks to buy in both real life and the simulation.
